Canmore shawarma
We had a beef Donair, Chicken Donair, Veggie Samosa and shared a water. The Regular size Donairs were huge and full of flavour. The Best we've ever had. The Samosa also delivered great flavour. Can't wait to return for other dishes they offer. The owner was very friendly and appreciative of our business. Decor is simple but the clear mountain view was the icing on the cake. Great value in my opinion; the two of us filled for $28 + tip.

Canmore shawarma
We loved this place. We were only in Canmore for an overnight stay on our way home from Banff. We ate here twice. The chicken shawarma wrap, the beef/lamb shawarma wrap, the falafel, the shawarma plate, beef samosa were all exceptionally great! The owner said he sometimes makes biryani but we missed that. Really great place. Worth a visit or two!

My girlfriend is middle eastern and she thinks it's extremely authentic and amazing tasting. Super recommended! Their falafel wrap and chicken shawarma are to die for. Make sure to add the spicy sauce if that's your thing - it's not too spicy and adds just the right kick to all the flavors.

We found this awesome restaurant on our way to Banff, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy.We ordered the chicken shawarma, Sri Lankan-style fried rice, and lamprais, and everything was incredibly delicious. Our favorite was definitely the chicken fried rice—it was sooo good!The portions were big, and the food looked great. You could tell they used fresh ingredients, and the flavors were amazing. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole experience even better.If you're in the area, you should definitely check out this restaurant. It's a hidden gem that you won't regret trying. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is cozy. We're already planning our next visit!

Our dining experience at Canmore shawarma was delightful. We savored their delectable shawarma, mix plate, and potato side, and they were truly exceptional in taste. We highly recommend trying these dishes. Moreover, the customer service we received was outstanding, adding to the overall satisfaction. We're eagerly looking forward to returning for more of their scrumptious food. It's an absolute must-visit!

We ordered two falafel plates and a vegie samosa to go from Canmore Shawarma at 4:30pm Thursday July 6, 2023. There was a short wait with one customer ahead of us and we received the order after a 5-10 minute wait. All staff were very polite. The food was very good. We particularly enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves – very tender, best we’ve had. One of us thought the falafels were a bit dry, but the other enjoyed them. Overall we enjoyed the meal and would return again.

Flavorless sandwich. They also make it wrong - toum goes first on the pita, then the other ingredients. I've never seen a shawarma shop use toum (if they even use it... It's not like I could see) as a topping. There are pictures covering the ingredients so you can't watch them make your sandwich or see how fresh the veggies are. No garlic on the garlic" potatoes - and the container was half full. Not worth the $6.All the great reviews are because it's the only shawarma shop in town and most people probably don't know better.... This isn't what shawarma is supposed to taste like. Disappointed.I'd like to add that I got exactly 2 turnips in my sandwich. 3 pickles at best. This is clearly why they hide the sandwich making..."

This is the place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please try it if you’re in Canmore!! The restaurant serves the most delicious food ever.Had the wrap one day and it was so good we came back the next day to try the rice plate. The wrap is great & it’s thin but chewy. The fluffy rice is seasoned perfectly. Can’t decide which is better cos both are super good.The meat is so tender and perfect - it kinda melts in your mouth. Sauces are perfect to compliment everything. Garlic & sweet sauce, there is tahini too. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. Serving size is great. If you’re a big eater, this place is for you.Lastly, the staff here are like very friendly. Wonderful people who make wonderful food, what more could you ask for.

Canmore shawarma
As a lover of shawarma, loved this spot in Canmore. The cook was not shy with the toppings and had a different style of shawarma wraps. For the price, it might seem a little expensive but it is totally worth it. The regular one seemed like the large one and I thought I would need 2 regulars to fill me up but 1 was sufficient.We are planning to come here again before we leave Canmore. Highly suggest this place to anyone in Canmore who loves shawarma.
