Ian swapped my iMac SSD and installed extra RAM. Computer runs miles faster now. He was very friendly, did it same day and explained everything in detail. The price was very reasonable too. I'm very satisfied.

Not Recommended for data recovery service from CanWay. After pre-paid a full bill, no refund for unsuccessful Data recovery solution that took from (Aug 2016 til Jan 2017). In the industry, No data, no charge. He refused for refund because he said he spent money on his tech and parts. Now, I didn't get anything and I am still charged. I put all of my effort to settle down this conflict (text, voice message) I got no response. Un-professional, very bad customer service.

Ian was very friendly and personable upon meeting and has done much work for me both with Mac's which he is a wizard with as well as PC's and networking. He has always gone the extra mile and made sure I have gotten more than my money's worth. I recommend Ian and Canway Technology to anyone requiring friendly and professional services that are also provided in a timely manner.

Ian, you took deposit of $1230 on May 3 for products and service we agreed on. After one month of your various appointment cancellation reasons, you said you would provide full refund by mid June. Now I am waiting till August and still have $810 outstanding.

We had an awful mess created by another So Called" reputable structured cabling company. CanWay came in with their team and had us sorted out in 2 days. They worked an entire weekend for a total of about 26 hours. When we came back on Monday not only had they reorganized all the cabling and made it look great

BUYER BEWARE Very unprofessional to deal with. I made an appointment with Ian to install a program on my computer which he told me would take 30 to 45 minutes. After multiple appointment changes, we did meet up and he was in such a hurry to leave that after 20 minutes he complained about my computer, said that it was too slow and that he would leave me to finish the install, the install finished as soon as I put the laptop on wi-fi and he said that it didn't need to be hooked up to the wi-fi.When I ran into problems later trying to install the language packs that are required to use the program he told me that I was trying to rip him off and find an excuse not to pay him and that they only way that this was going to work is if he could take my $2000 Mac Powerbook home with him to clean it up. I met the guy at Starbucks and found him on Kijiji there is no way that I am giving him my computer, but he kept forcing the issue, got nasty and told me that he blocked the serial number on the program.He was jumpy, strange and tried to tell me that he got a strange vibe from me. My husband and I are educated professionals who showed up to meeting him wearing suits after work, he came in grubby clothing and brought a chatty friend.I would avoid thinking that you are going to save a buck by using him and just get it done right the first time.

The best IT guy I've ever had. Friendly and went out of his way to help me out. Would highly recommend him.This is just a review but he is amazing at his job and a great person!

Would give zero if possible. DON'T waste your time, and definitely not your money either! I suggest, calling the better business bureau, when he refuses to give you your money back, because he NEVER DID ANYTHING!

Job not complete since pre covid. Company not responding. Paid money in advance and took our equipment for replacement. Still waiting Hopefully Ian will respond.
