My fiancé and I had a great experiment buying our used car from Seaway Hyundai. We got our car stolen months before and had to wait months to get another car at other dealerships due to the car shortages (we get it, completely out of their hands!). Simply couldn’t wait any longer. We met Jeff Joubert at Hyundai and he found us the perfect car that fits our needs and budget. Based on a past experience that has left me considerably unimpressed, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle from Seaway Hyundai.I purchased a used 2018 Honda Civic from the dealership on Oct. 31. The car of course came with a safety.Less than 6,000 km after I purchased the car (about three months), I noticed that there was considerable wear on all four tires (with one being extremely worn, to the point of being bald).As reference, I was told by different mechanics that the tires needed to be changed.I went back to Seaway Hyundai twice and inquired if I could possibly get replacement tires.I was told that the tires (even the bald one) still had 4/32 thread left and that anything under that wouldn't pass safety. Turns out, that these tires magically passed safety three months ago, but somehow, have become extremely worn over 6,000 km of driving. Keep in mind, the cheapest tires on the market are supposed to last about 60,000 km.So here I am, having paid just over $20,000 and having to now put $1,000 worth of tires on this car — three months after buying it.Although everyone was nice"

2023 Elantra Hybrid. I got interested because of its specs on gas and how little it cost on gas to drive. Moreover, it’s amazing in comfort and design with lots of leg room. The technology exceeded my wildest expectations. I’m so fascinated with all this car can do; I feel I got so much more than I paid for!I love everything about the car, and I’m so happy that Jeff Joubert (sales) took the time to convince me I would be very happy in this car. And that was an understatement! The entire Seaway Hyundai crew runs a right ship, and are highly enthusiastic, motivated, knowledgeable, and eager to take great care of their customers.When you buy a vehicle here, the relationship doesn’t end on the dotted line you sign (Bill off sale).
