I reached out to KAT for an initial quote, and Katrina was kind enough to call me right away on behalf of Darren and the KAT company to help talk through my concerns. I super appreciated her kind advice and warm approach to reassuring me that whatever our needs were, that Darren and KAT would be able to take care of us. Darren reached out to me immediately to confirm a time, and I was incredibly thankful that he was willing to drive out 1 hour west of Edmonton to take a look at our water pressure and do a general diagnostic of our water tank and furnace system. Most companies had a dispatch or mileage fee just to come out and take a look, but KAT was accommodating and reasonable (no fee) because they understood that living out in the rural areas of Alberta can be challenging. This truly set KAT apart from other companies! When we met Darren, he was super helpful, willing to teach us, very personable and went above and beyond to help us diagnose and fix our issue. He even came back twice again to help us sort out other issues that had been discovered unexpectedly. The bad weather and distance was a challenge, but he didn't let us down. Darren gave us options that were reasonable and cost effective and did an excellent job. We would highly recommend him and his company -- Small but mighty. Furnace died at night in extreme cold. Darren diagnosed and tracked down part and installed for us. Very friendly and reasonable would recommend / use again forsure.

They've provided various options, and took into consideration both my timelines and requirements, to ultimately provide the best of class service, in a very fair and economical manner.After calling a few contractors to get quotes for a new furnace, most ended up being in the same competitive bracket, however Darren was able to provide a product that exceeded expectations in price-to-cost performance, for a really well reviewed product.I highly recommend them when looking for a furnace replacement, or at least as another potential option.

Darren was very friendly and helped us out by diagnosing our water pressure issues and furnace repair needs before winter came. He was very professional and taught us many things we didn't know about the plumbing system and furnace. This review is a little late as I used their service in March, however I must say that they delivered good service and really good advice too. My AC has an issue and last year and another electrician had scared me into believing it would not be worth fixing and to buy a new one. but Darren gave me genuine advise and fixed my AC for a very reasonable price. It works fine now. Also a pleasant person to talk to. Highly recommend
