A cute atmosphere, quality pastries and nice coffee. The staff were friendly but a bit slow, there was a slow moving line to order and a bit of a long wait to get the coffee. For my taste, drinks were too sweet especially the matcha. I’d probably visit again if I am in town.

The Espresso Post was a nice surprise when I first time stopped there. I have been to many espresso serving spots and this is the one of the best ones. Espresso served had a nice delicate flavor and I loved it. On my second visit while placing a order for a double shot espresso and a single shot espresso I watched how barista (older gent) measurers how much coffee is used for each shot. This took me by surprise since I did not expect that but I knew that to get optimal results for each shot of espresso you have to do that, as well as that this barista knew his job. During my visit to Collingwood I was regular visitor there at least twice a day (early mornings and around lunch time). I just want to say THANK YOU to barista who made my visit memorable and very enjoyable and for sure if I am around there I will stop again. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!

Been here four times, and I can safely say that this is the best espresso in Collingwood, which isn't saying much of anything at all, unfortunately. Overextracted and bitter, and they know it, as they always ask if you want sugar. The guy behind the counter is generally more concerned with talking to other staff and regulars than with customers in general, but he pulls a competent coffee, so it's almost a wash. The atmosphere is *awful*, though, and this is not designed for people to comfortably have a coffee. All the seating is solid wood chairs, nothing plush, and everything is monochrome. The only pops of colour other than brown are the leaves of a potted palm and a green, leather upholstered chair, whose promise of comfortable seating is kept only in comparison to the other chairs. It's drab, full of itself, and too hung up on its past accomplishments to be willing to change from the worst caricature of an early 2000s hipster bar. Not the café that downtown needs, but the one it deserves.

A cute coffee place in the heart of Collingwood. I loved the atmosphere of the cafe, chocolate croissant, and a sandwich but not so much coffee though. I had a latte and my husband had espresso but the coffee wasn’t great as we expected. Make sure to pay on the street for parking. You can easily get tickets here.

Waited in line for a long time and then when I was served I ordered 2 scones and only got one, the barista said she accidentally didn’t charge me for the other scone so she didn’t give it to me but they don’t list prices. I paid $15 for 2 Americanos and 1 scone then!? The Americanos were $4 each, so I paid $7 for a scone!? I should have asked for a receipt but I just wanted to get out of there as I had such a bad experience. I don’t blame the barista, she was a nice girl and it was very busy, but I am not coming back and would not recommend. Cafe should list their prices and get more help on the weekend mornings. Also, the scone was dry and I ended up throwing it out, deff not worth it!

tidy; warm cozy cafe style settings; the latte and the flat white are really good; no bitterness in the drink and the milk foam shows the skills and technics of the solo employee that day. ( a month ago) pastry ( tea biscuit is average that could have a better texture on fluffiness and butter. i had tried other cafe in the town; this place is the best compare to quality and environment. keep up the good works.

Absolutely gorgeous milk. Micro foam was perfect on my flat white and the cortado was beautiful. I had to of course get a French press and a had of beans to go.From the decor in the front to the sweet wallpaper and Aesop soap on the washrooms this space was incredibly quaint. We felt welcomed immediately. We met the owners. What beautiful souls. The 2 baristas there were so lovely. This was our weekend away and we scored when finding this cafe. When we are back that way we will definitely be going back. There is such a sense of community. If I lived in Collingwood that would be my spot for sure.Check it out. You won’t be disappointed. Ps. There are amazing baked goods as well. Xo
