The pulled pork sandwich is a nice value. A large portion of pulled pork atop a brioche bun served with a side of kettle potato chips and and about two tbs of coleslaw. The pit burger was equal in taste and value. The sauces were all tasty from the very sweet Cherry Molases to the Vinegar based Memphis, and my personal favorite was the RedSmoke hot, which was only slightly medium heat on the very end. The restaurant was very busy for a Monday at 7p., but the upper floor(s) were not available. After being seated, we saw at least 10 potential parties leave when told the wait would be 1-1 .5 hrs. We took a classic combo togo for other family members, and they found the brisket average, and the chicken was very dry to the point they just tossed it out. Overall, a good experience, but I'd recommend sticking to the pulled pork options. The brisket and ribs are superior at Slow's, but still fine here if you don't want to make that trek.

We REALLY wanted the fried pickles after seeing pictures from everyone else, but they evidently don't make them anymore ☹️ the brisket and Cole slaw I ordered was good though. The staff was nice and no complaints on our service. The food came out almost instantly!!They do add 15% gratuity for you, like most places nearby. Don't like it? Go elsewhere. Burger King may be more your speed. You won't get the option to stiff waitstaff around here.The music they were playing was mid. More local house music, less top 40 from 10 years ago. What they had on TV was whack too.. At least put on the food network or something. I would order for takeout next time.

Food was really good and atmosphere inside is pretty neat and perfect for BBQ. Service as the only reason it wasn’t 5. Didn’t seem like they wanted to seat us at first but our server was nice and responsive. They do force a 20% gratuity which I always feel like you get less help with places like that with them knowing they’re receiving it already just my opinion.

A lot of food! The sauces were good... Not too hot... And the meats and sides were very tasty.They do add 15% charge to ALL dine in which is unfortunate since I'd have tipped 20 but resent this forced payment so she got the 15. The service was very pleasant and good.

Excellent barbecue!! I highly recommend the sweet potato fries. You get quite a bit of food you could split meals with someone if you don't want to fill up a whole lot before going out on your ventures. Great variety of sauces. The Cherry barbecue sauce is Damn thats good like put on everything good.

This place went above and beyond from the beginning. My group and I was reading the menu posted outside the building thirty minutes prior to opening and a worker came out and handed us each a menu to make it easier to see. Because of this, we decided to go here for lunch. It was a Wednesday at opening, so there was only one or two servers working. But at no point did we have to wait for anything. The servers were simply the best. The fries, brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and burgers were all amazing. Perfectly cooked, Flavorful, tender. Some of the best barbecue I've had. The 4 BBQ sauces they had on the table were all amazing. The mud sauce and the hot sauce were my favorite. We went through a half bottle each during out visit. Portions were substantial, but everything was so good I cleaned my plate. If you are in greektown and want some quality barbecue, I can't recommend this place enough.

We ordered the feast which is what was recommended by the waiter. It came on a large platter, pulled pork, chicken, full rack of rips, and brisket, we ordered the sweet potatoes and rice and beans for sides. It was all very yummy. I liked the brisket and pulled pork the best.We had leftovers for dinner the night after and they were just as good the second time.

Food: Five stars - Excellent Mac and cheese, brisket, and sausage. BBQ sauces have good flavor too! Really enjoyed the food!Service - ZERO STARS - The waitress we had was AWFUL! She took our order and then didn’t come back until we were done eating. We repeatedly had to ask other staff for refills on drinks. She also didn’t ask how the food was as my friends food was dry. She gave another friend a full Caesar salad when ordered a side Caesar salad with his meal. We also had to pay the bill with another waitress. She basically didn’t do anything other than take our order which she got wrong. All of this and we were forced to pay 15% gratuity (it’s automatically added to your bill). YIKES!!!
