It’s a nice spot to ski/ board. Staff was very nice and helpful. Daughter had a snowboarding lesson and the instructor was very helpful and patient. Not a super fancy or expensive resort which I think makes it great.

Loved it! It was my first time skiing here and we had a good time. We took the night slope and rental, it was straight forward quick, and the staff were genuinely helpful. It wasn't too crowded and the training and beginner slopes was perfect pace for newbies. Got really encouraged and would definitely come out to try it out again and maybe go to the more advanced slope next time.

Amazing experience! I’m a first time snowboarder at 28, and they set me up with a private beginners lesson. I have bad hips, so skiing was out of the question. My instructor (Andy) was awesome. I was able to have a very enjoyable experience as someone who was VERY anxious about trying a new sport. I feel like I left with a lot of new skills. When we go back, I will probably take another lesson!My husband is pretty good at snowboarding and had a great time on the slopes. Plenty of room to store our stuff, friendly staff, great rental resources, no complaints here!

The ski hill itself is nice and the chairlifts seem new. The main lift wasn't assembled, so it was a workout to get to Lifts 1 and 3 from the lodge. The snow was great, as we don't have any snow currently in the LP Michigan.My low rating is from the food and bar service. It's slow and a bit unorganized. We sat for 2 HOURS waiting for our food, even though the server came by often for drink refills and to assure us the food was coming...". Tables that had been sat after us were fed and going back to the hills. By the time we finally got our food

Worth the drive from lower peninsula MI. The U.S. dollar goes further in Canada too! Beautiful area with all the hills. We went early season and want to go back. Customer Service helped us out with a lost phone actually found it the next day! Great family trip.

Was out at the hill for the first time in a few years. The new owners are turning this hidden gem into a proper destination resort. The renovations are excellent to the main lodge as well as the onsite accommodations. The new lifts are great. I love thé added lift for the newer skiers. The shop run by Crystal is top notch. Fun events for Family Day week-end. These new owners are sparing no expense and they are successful in creating a real ski resort experience. I can’t say enough good things about the new Searchmont.Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because the renos aren’t yet done and the main lift wasn’t open.

The snow was Epic! We had a great time, only question was why the chair/runs on the right side were closed? Can't beat the price for the best skiing around!

Place is always a great place to ride. I've been around Ontario on my snowboard and Searchmont is probably the best this province has to offer. Even though the main triple was down, there was plenty of runs to mess around on. Definitely going back. Big shout out to Woody, he's a staple to that area.

What a great experience Searchmont in Ontario Canada was. It gave my family an friends on our weekend stay a great time. Such helpful an courteous staff, they made our stay a better time for the kids, an less for the adults to worry about. Fun times in the lounge with the live bands and even karaoke. Food was great... especially from A ski lodge, was not expecting that and Kids loved it. Check to see if your kids season passes are accepted there. Ours were so No additional lift tickets needed which is awesome. Will definitely be back. Can't wait. Keep up the good work guys.

My friend and I loved it here! We always ski at the massive mountain resorts in the Rockies of Alberta and BC, so we weren't expecting much coming here, but we were pleasantly surprised! Due to recent snow fall, the snow conditions were actually the best we have seen for quite some time. The runs were great, and we loved the tree skiing. Even with only 1 chair open, it wasn't too busy, and there was still a good variety of terrain. They also have a pretty nice terrain park set up with some really jumps and other features. The lodge and cafeteria are nice as well. I highly recommend giving Searchmont a shot!
