Boulevard Lake

Beautiful spot to walk around the lake. The entire loop takes about an hour. There is a swimming area next to the park.I’ve enjoyed having group BBQs at Boulevard in the summers. I don’t utilize this place as much as I should unfortunately.

Public walking trail surrounds boulevard lake and is a fabulous stop to stretch your legs or go for a run! Rated as one of Thunderbays best running routes it is a town favorite!

Beautiful park, great for walking, biking, roller blading. Paved walk ways all round the lake, and disk golf.

Good place to hangout with friends!

This is one of my favourite places to walk when I am visiting Thunder Bay. The nice things about it is that it is in the city, I feel very safe with so many other people enjoying the loop around Boulevard Lake, there is lots of free parking and washrooms on both sides of the lake, it has beautiful views of Boulevard, as well as Trowbridge Falls, and Lake Superior, it is paved making it wheelchair friendly, it is clean, and well maintained.There is also a mini-putt course, tennis courts, brand new wheelchair play structure going up, you can swim and play on a supervised sandy beach, canoe, kayak, rollerblade, and even walk your dog on leash.

Great place to walk, bike or rollerblade. Convenient for those new to kayaking or canoeing. Ample parking.

Good place with nice view from the Boulevard lake fishway.There is a nearby dam named Boulevard lake dam. Public are allowed to walk over the dam. One side of the dam is very good looking and is dedicated for jogging.People are not allowed to swim near the dam. Reaching there is quite easy by transit by catching bus No.1 to current river.Visiting during summer and fall will be great.Even during winter when I visited, it is awesome.

Beautiful walking/cycling path around the lake with great views

We always do daily walks around the lake when we visit our family. Never get tired of the well maintained park. It is a credit to the city and a benefit to the residents.
