Motel 6 Mississauga, ON - Toronto

The hotel was smelling disgusting. There was no cleaning service. They wanted extra money for the mini-fridge in the room. I stayed a week.it was a terrible experience for me.

Not a motel for over 1 year and a half. Yet still comes up as an option for motel booking online. Was told it is now a government building despite the sign still being there a few days ago. Working on getting my booking transaction returned.

It’s fraud, there is no motel . So everyone pls be careful before booking here specially by online apps

Motel 6 left me stranded standing outside in the rain! There is no hotel here… On the exterior, it is a Motel 6 building, however, if you enter you will discover that it’s actually a family shelter run by Peel Region. They confirmed my reservation despite being closed, wasting my time and money. Customer Care and Reservation departments were clueless and offered no assistance when I reached out. Would not recommend becoming a My6 member.

The location is great, the grounds surrounding the hotel was clean.The room had so many issues. No light in the bathroom, my hairdryer smoked and almost caught fire. The tv and the thermostat didn't work either.

As the last few reviews show, this is no longer operating as a Motel 6. I'm not sure why Motel6 refuses to take this location down from their official site, but when you arrive, you will find a sign telling you it is a government shelter and not to enter. I guess maybe the franchisee has not told Motel6 and Motel6 is ignoring the customer complaints/inquiries. I can only imagine the nightmare it would have been if I had booked through a third party, but I am hoping nobody tries to charge my card for my direct booking that I had made. It was still a horrendous experience arriving in Canada without a place to stay and without a Canadian cell phone plan to try to find somewhere else to go. I think this ends it for me and Motel 6 because I never want to find myself in that position again where my direct booking was for a Motel6 that no longer exists. It's almost unbelievable that they would be so negligent and out of touch with their properties, but here we are.

It's a SCAM. I booked motel 6 online they sent me confirmation number and everything. After 6-7 hours drive from Ohio USA when we get there around 12am in the midnight the guy who was sitting on reception area he didn't open the door and said it's not motel 6 and you guys can't stay here. We told him we have confirmation number for this address he said he don't care. There was another 3 groups arrived same time with family and kids. They said they also booked online through the website. Guy who was sitting on the reception desk he said he don't care about anything. He was so rude. The company should let the customer know on their website that this is not more longer motel 6. But company seems like don't care about customer time and money. I'll never go in any motel 6 in my life. Thank you for wasting our time, money.

I stayed here and it was the worst experience in my life. There was roaches, the bathroom was dirty, the curtains were stained and look like they haven't been changed in years. Please don't stay here.

This is NOT Motel 6 anymore and there is so rude people inside they not explaining anything about what’s going on, I’m booked the hotel online but this hotel still on the Motel 6 group company, So Don’t booking her because again this is not Motel 6 this building is now is place for people like homeless, I seen garbage everywhere outside and people like homeless they sitting around the building

It is fake location. It is occupied by some one. Phone number is not working. Do not ever book Motel 6. I called customer service for refund money but they answered to me they do not access for this location, even they do not have phone number for the location. I think, motel 6 is fraud. Still, I am waiting for reply from customer services.Any one has idea how to reach legal action with motel fraud.
