Budget Car Rental

Great experience so far. Flight was cancelled and Krissy at the airport location was able to get us set up in town for the next day when our flight was cancelled. They knew exactly what was going on when we arrived. Kudos to Bastian Jose! He was super friendly and helpful! He was a wonderful welcome to our vacation, keep up the great work!

My supervisor had rented a car for me but they had not taken my travel day into consideration. I was so worried about getting charged for the extra day and not getting covered by work. Bastian and Shanon Jose were very understanding and offered to reimburse me for the extra day if my work place refused to cover me. Thank you!

Once again incredible service from Budget! They went out of their way to find my mother a vehicle when they were sold out. We had no idea on how insurances worked and they thoroughly explained it to me without trying to “sell” me on their coverage. I greatly appreciate the integrity of the staff!

Good initial experience but they called with about 20 minutes notice on Friday afternoon to return the car and they weren't open on the weekend!!!

Wife's car was in body shop.Rented a Yukon as that's all they had left.Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Excellent customer service with friendly welcoming staff. My vehicle was involved in a hit & run and ICBC provided a car rental via Budget. I can understand why they have chosen to work with them and I appreciated their patience and sincerity. Thank you Sharon Jose!

I give no stars to this Budget rent a car. Especially the lady that was working. She said you needed a credit card for each driver over 25. Which is BULL she said to much cars being damaged and stolen I said that’s what the car insurance is for and credit card is for payment but it was covered for $700.00 dollars from ICBC. Then she said they couldn’t use the ICBC credit because i was using my card my friend had to use his card for the ICBC credit to work. But not everyone can have a credit card my friend went the day before and found out he needed a credit card even if ICBC was pay so he told them he was going to bring a friend with a card. So i reserved a car next morning the fist lady from Nanaimo call centre was very polite and helpful but friendly couldn’t find claim # so i said I will call back got a gentleman which was nice booked us the vehicle with no mention of two credit cards and I said its my card so we will both be on the for driving so when we arrived it wasn’t the same so we left I phoned Budget again the lady from Nanaimo answered again told her the story and she apologized the manager came on we talked she said be right back and said she listen to the tape and i did not mention right information. Example you get a call from collection agency they say there recording and they start to threaten you swear and so. Now you asked for that tape all of a sudden the machine didn’t record it was broken we last it. But if you swore or threatened them that recording will show up it’s in there favour not anyone else so this would be the highest- i could give if they aloud it but i had to give them 1 star you can’t pick none. I still call Bull on the credit cards for multiple driver’s my opinion do not rent from Budget car rentals i will never be caught on there car lot even if they were the only place on earth have a nice day grumpy people

Great service. Special thanks to Sharon. He was able to find me a rental at very short notice when my truck broke down. Car was clean and reasonably priced. A nice central location made for an easy pickup.

nice truck but boy it was filthy. Even had left over food in console.. Gross. What's the point of a cleaning checklist when it's not cleaned? Employees couldn't careless except a sorry". Tried to let them know about a broken switch

Good communication with budget rep. Gave me a $25 credit for having to use a taxi to get to them. Took the time to walk around the vehicle that I had rented for the week. Clean and well maintained.Well done folks
