Island Home Bed & Breakfast

This bed and breakfast is nothing short of amazing. The beautiful and carefully planted decor is absolutely stunning. The rooms were spotless, and very well maintained. This is the place to stay in Grand Manan.

Convenient location with very friendly staff. Our room was clean, quiet and nicely decorated. A delicious breakfast was served at 9:00 in the morning. We appreciated the air conditioning in our room.

Recently stayed for the second time and was again very pleased. Staff are extremely friendly, beds comfortable, and just overall excellent accommodations. We will definitely be back!

What makes the perfect Bed & Breakfast is the combination of personal involvement of the owners or staff and careful attention to detail.In my opinion Island Home B&B is the perfect example of this.From the outside this charming, sprawling, buttercup yellow home is irresistable. With its lovely window boxes bursting with colour, and its inviting porch swing and rocking chairs, it's completely adorable. When i stepped inside i was greeted with the warmest, most sincere welcome, and shown around. It was delightful. So inviting, and incredibly cozy and comfortable. There are a few different common rooms, each has a style of it's own, and it is obvious that the owner is an incredible designer. The rooms are amazing, so beautiful and unique. There are sitting rooms for reading or watching tv, a kitchenette with an icemaker, keurig, fruits, homemade muffins and pasteries.My newly renovated room was gorgeous, modern and fresh with a scrupulously clean bed and fully equipped bathroom.There is also a carefully presented shop, Primitive Wishes, on site that has an incredible assortment of seasonal merchandise, fresh honey, candles and home decor.This was simply the most beautiful, most comfortable and lovliest b&b i have ever stayed at, and i couldn't recommend it any higher. ☺

Well this is certainly the best place we have ever stayed at on Grand Manan. The decor is beautiful, the staff is amazing and whole relaxing experience was second to none. If your looking for a quiet getaway make sure you stay here!

This B&B is beyond INCREDIBLE! Between the accommodating staff, the amazing location and delicious coffee bar... you truly feel like you’re right at home! Highly recommend this stunning place! Oh and by far the best pancakes I ever had in my life :o)

My husband and I, along with my brother and his wife from Chicago were on the Island for a family wedding. We spent three nights at this bed and breakfast. The entire home was beautifully decorated. The hospitality was exceptional. The breakfast was perfect - both in taste and presentation. We would enthusiastically recommend to any one looking for a great experience on the Island to choose this spot.

Loved the modern decor! The Bed and Breakfast was very clean. The staff was really helpful with planning our activities for the day. I also liked the privacy that was provided. It was like having your own island home.

After a really tough week of bad weather and camping, my husband and I decided to check in for a night at Island Home BnB. I instantly felt welcomed and relaxed. The rooms are so tastefully decorated and calming. There is a coffee and tea room that you can access at all times, which also includes an ice machine and water station. There are several lounging areas (tv room, front room, library, etc). There’s a beautiful little patio in the backyard as well where you can drink your morning coffee and plan your day. Though from the outside the building truly looks like a well maintained 19th century home, the inside is modern and clean and quiet. I am very squeamish when it comes to hotels and dislike the idea of climbing into other peoples’ beds, but this bed was very easy to climb into and I didn’t want to get out in the morning. There was minimal noise from our fellow guests (except for an understandable creaky floor upstairs). We have heard that the breakfast is delicious but have not eaten yet! I would 100% come back here again. Beautiful place and wonderful people.
