Mike will give your piano the real velvet glove treatment! He has a keen ear and has been formally trained in contrast to the many apprenticed tuners in Calgary. It is easy to communicate and schedule through his bookings person, and he offers weekdays, evenings and weekends. I recommend him without hesitation.

They have the skills and resources to handle not only the yearly tuning, but also more complex repairs, to the action, finish and cabinet work, moving, storage, everything! They recently made me a very special piano bench in their workshop. You will be amazed at what they have to offer.

Unlike many technicians who only apprenticed, Mike went through a formal training program as well. His tunings are simply better than others I've had. He is not afraid to tell you about other things that need to be worked on in order to get your piano into the best condition. Also, sometimes a tuning alone is not enough and at that point you will really be glad you chose Ruttle piano works!

Repairs completed with skill and precision. Easy to talk to and a kind person. The second appointment was for a full tuning which was also completed in a normal amount of time, 1.5 hours, not 3-4 hours like some of the junior tuners" in the area. It isn't worth it to save $20

I needed to have a few keytops and a string replaced. They were able to get it done over 2 appointments (the string had to be duplicated in their shop), Mike tuned it up and its is holding up nicely even a few months later.
