I enjoyed this place a lot! It has a great atmosphere in the pub. Service was ontop of everything from refills to food orders we were well taken care of. Food wasn't greasy, tasted good all happily be returning again soon!

Yummy and Delicious. Price Reasonable. Ample Parking. Huge oyster burger. No five star because shortage of staff and had to ask twice for coffee refills as well as to get the bill.

The best neighborhood local in Victoria, the JBI is the true embodiment of everything a neighbourhood local should be.The food is great, the drinks generously sized and well made, and the staff are fun and cheerful in their interactions, and efficient in their service (a big 'Thank You' to Michelle and Sherri)!

I felt really at home here. It feels like a real pub. Friendly without being pushy. Good range of local beers and my wife enjoyed a Chardonay and an excellent chowder. As an aside they had two dart boards that were in use. I would happily visit again.

The food was excellent, the service from Corrie was immaculate. There was a short haired lady that was rude but other than that, it was amazing! Will definitely be back to see my girl Corrie!!!

I think I ate or drank here every day during my stay. It was convenient and, more importantly, the food was exceptional. Everything was made in-house and you could tell!The service was exceptional and made the experience so much fun.It appears that the pub is a local watering hole and creates a cosy and enjoyable environment.Highly recommended!

It's got an old familiar feel. I havnt seem many younger people frequent this place. Then again it's always a Saturday afternoon when we go. My roommate Joel takes me there sometimes. We gamble and he orders something. Jack is super great and hospitality it on point as he brings us our drinks later on our food . Which is always a surprise for me. As Joel orders it. Food is always thr always the best part. Because I can eat it I my room. Sitting on my bed with a light tingly bubbly feeling I acquired at JBI. After the meal I sleep for a couple of hours and then recall my day as if it was a dream.Perfect place for your own daydream.(Dont say describe your experience to me, as this was alot longer. I was asked to trim this.for you own Saturday afternoon experience meet me there - bye)

Haven’t been here for a while and definitely won’t be back.Dinner for three of us was fine although we waited 40 minutes for our food. We went to the pub side for the more chill atmosphere.Food was ok, basic pub food with nothing remarkable. We opted not to have alcohol but each ordered an iced tea. The glasses came so full of ice that two sips from the straw and the tea was gone. We laughed about this. The server brought a second iced tea without asking. Still laughing because of the two sip drink my husband asked for a third refill. She brought me one too and I laughed and said I didn’t want it but she left it anyway with no comment. No big deal until we got the bill. $4 per glass! She didn’t charge for the second refill but did charge for the 3rd. $16 for the equivalent of one glass of iced tea! When we called her on it she was rude and walked away.

I had the chicken pot pie with fries and my friend had the steak sandwich. I thoroughly enjoyed meal and so did my friend. Very reasonably priced. Our waitress was great, she was on her game. It was fairly busy for a Wednesday night which was good to see. Even so busy we didn't wait for our drinks and the food came out pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend going here
