The calamari plate was VERY sad compared to the other pictures we've seen in reviews. When you think you're paying a little over $120 for just 2 appetizers and 2 drinks, you would expect a little more. The cheese plate was great but we paid $55 for it. I think next time I'll just stay home and make my own cheese plate for a fraction of that price

I had a great couple of visits to this location. There is a great view of the river but we actually ate in the lounger and in the tables out front (to avoid the sun). The service was top notch. I ordered the Fish & Chips and Le Burger Héron. Both were good but the lamb burger was my personal preference. We arrive early for check in at the Mill, so we left our bags at the front desk and went here for a meal and a drink. We were not disappointed.

Wonderful dinner, we had the swordfish, bison tartar and the charcuterie board. For dessert we had the Financier and la Panna Cotta, 10/10.Everything was fantastic, the servers were amazing and very responsive, everything was clean and following pandemic protocols and the view was amazing, overlooking the falls. Would highly recommend the charcuterie! Great selection of meats and cheese. We will be coming back for more!

We went for dinner on Dec 26th and unfortunately they were understaffed. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and give our appetizer order. We were there an hour before we got our appetizers and we scarfed them down. Drinks and food were good, it was just an incredibly long wait and I could see other diners getting increasingly frustrated, especially those with kids.

Heron Wine BarVery mediocre food, we took the fish and chips, and the pulled pork sandwich, the fish was greasy and over cooked and dry and a small portion with too many fries to compensate for the lack of fish, with a wilted coleslaw. The pulled pork was soggy and mushy with too much BBQ sauce, with an overload of fries again, the beer was flat which I returned and got another one which was better. The service was good though. Overall expensive and disappointing. Beautiful restaurant and view but the food does not live up to the place.

5-stars for their food, service & amazing location! Very friendly staff. Kids enjoyed their food as well. We went early right before lunch and got seated by the window for a perfect view.

The husband and I recently enjoyed a date night here. The atmosphere was great, live piano player playing some funky tunes, we had a great table in the solarium area with a beautiful view of the waterfall. The staff was chill and personable. My husband loved his food, he ordered off the Muse portion of the menu. I am vegan so the options were slim. I ordered the tofu wrap and unfortunately it was not very good at all. Lacked flavour. Tofu wasn’t given the love it needed to be tasty. Cocktails tho were amazing!
