I cannot express how absolutely amazing I was treated during the session and during picking photos. It was so much fun. The experience was better than I ever thought it could be. What a beautiful job of my photographs. I didn’t think I was photogenic, but Barbara changed that. Thank you so much for making my dream come true surprising my husband for our 30th. He was so touched.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Barbara changed my life. I went to my reveal last night and was so pleased with her work! She managed to allow me to see myself in a light I never have before and for the first time in years (maybe ever) I feel confident to say that I am a beautiful, sexy woman! I recommend this experience to anyone, and I literally mean anyone. I am somebody who avoids cameras and attention, but I have never felt so special in my life throughout the whole process. There needs to be more stars for this rating. 5 just isn't enough!! I had the best experience with Barbara and I can't recommend her and her experience enough. I am super shy and have struggled with body image since I was little and wanted to do this for myself. I wanted to be able to see and love my body for the miracle that it is. I am so glad that I did this and that I did it even though I was nervous. Barbara takes care of all of that. She makes you feel so comfortable, brings the energy that you need, and has you feeling like a QUEEN by the time you leave. Every detail is so thought out and she goes above and beyond in all areas. Her talent, creativity, attention to detail show in her work. I also loved the reveal session where my husband and I chose to look through the photos together. That was such an empowering experience in and of itself. EEEEEEEKKK!!! I love my photos, I love how I felt during and more importantly how I felt after. I definitely have more confidence. I feel every woman deserves the level of confidence that supports her goals, dreams and ambitions. I have BIG goals and dreams and my photo session has gotten me to that next level. If you ask me,the Luminaire Studio the best option for boudoir photography in Winnipeg. Barbara is an amazing personality and she made me feel very comfortable,and I must say that I am a shy person. Her studio spaces are so gorgeous and full of stule, she has so many options for sets and she does a incredible job of the vibe your going for with the best space. She suggested me a wonderful makeup artist and hairstylist and she created exactly the look I dreamed about. All in all this experience was better than I could have hoped for, and I couldn’t be happier. The reveal day for the photos was my and my husband anniversary and Barbara created wonderful atmosphere at her studio and it's all turned to be an unforgettable experience for me and my husband. As a self conscious woman I was hesitant at first to book an appointment for a Boudoir photo shoot. I called a few different studios before booking, but after speaking with Barbara I knew she was the one! When I arrived at her studio for my photo shoot I was welcomed with my own personal set up, snacks, drinks and even a personalized welcome sign with my name on it. She is very thorough with explaining how the shoot will go, giving pointers and constantly encouraging you and making you feel comfortable and confident. The photo shoot itself was so much fun! For the first time in a long time I felt beautiful, sexy, and confident in my own skin. My photos turned out amazing! I highly recommend Barbara and I can’t wait to book another appointment in the future.

I cried at the photo reveal. I saw a strong, beautiful, brave person who I was meeting for the first time. And it was me. The real me. In that moment I couldn’t be more proud of myself.But let’s back up here. I was nervously excited when booking this session with Barbara at Luminaire Studio. She came highly recommended to me… but I wasn’t sure I could be brave enough to do this.When I arrived, I instantly felt comfortable with Barbara, like we were old friends. She put so much thought into every detail for me. Her space is beautiful, comfortable and inviting. Barbara set up the music I love, snacks, drinks and the hair and makeup were done perfectly.We just clicked and within the first 5 minutes of taking photos I told her straight out “you sure know how to make someone feel like a movie star”! And we rocked it from there. I was full of energy and couldn’t wait to see the next pose we would capture.Thank you Barbra for creating the space that allowed me to open up and be brave. She even laid out a stringy lacy little number for me to try. It was fierce. I wore sexy outfits which I always told myself I’d never look good in. Well I wasted a lot of years telling myself that - I finally put them on and I looked and felt so confident. And in my photos it shows! What a wonderful experience! Barbara was warm, and approachable during the whole process, she made me feel both comfortable AND beautiful. Her professional skills as a photographer were great, and that combined with how positive she was during the shoot produced beautiful photos! Her response time after initial contact was fast, she got me into her schedule within a deadline for my first anniversary with my husband- a very big deal. I loved the reveal process, too- and felt very good about the pics I chose for my album. If you’re thinking about booking a boudoir shoot, this is the place to go! Don’t walk, RUN!! Barbara is so good. She is so welcoming, uplifting and just really, really good at what she does. I felt so confident and comfortable with her, and our session was SO MUCH FUN! She is so uplifting and her positivity is radiating.
