Brought my Dad's Pioneer amp from the 70's in for repair. You folks cleaned it up and man--it has NEVER sounded better. I've been smilin' for 3 days. Super friendly and helpful staff. Thank you SO much!!

They managed to fix my pioneer spec 2 that someone else said couldn't. So I'm happy.Edit: Meters kept on jumping up and down on the right channel, so I opened it up to see what might be the problem. Turns out the person who worked on it pushed a transitor to have two of its leg touching eachother.

Great people… an amazing store with a fantastic vibe and amazing inventory! They treat the newbie audiophile with just as much respect and support as the lifers who have forgotten more than most of us ever knew about the heyday of stereo. A must on the Calgary vinyl circuit and unmatched for service and quality.

I LOVE that Old Retro Store. Fantastic selection of music, gear, and memorabilia! Highly recommend checking them out.They also Refurbished and cleaned up my Families vintage gear from the 70s. Definitely worth a call if you need any work done!

We recently had Wade and his crew clean and refurbish a 1960s Canadian made record cabinet. The turnstile wasn’t working and it was very dusty and dirty from sitting for years. No longer a plant stand headed for the trash because it’s all been restored! Thank you again Wade for bringing her back to life!

That Old Retro Store has all of your older stereo equipment needs, not to mention an EXCELLENT selection of vinyl. They have some really rare records and stereo equipment which is hard to find anywhere else. Staff is super nice, and their record room in the basement always has some really interesting finds for cheap.

Big shout out to Steve and all the staff at “That Old Retro Store”, I brought my turn table in to get it fixed/serviced. We ran into some trouble finding the solution to a problem that was evading all of us. But all the staff was very dedicated in solving the problem. I have to say their customer service is the best I’ve experienced in the city and this is definitely my home base store going forward. Thanks again for all the help! Really appreciate it!
