Mintcon did for us some substantial interior renovation; separated the two levels with independent doors, added a laundry space and built a small kitchen in the basement. Their services and pricing were excellent, work was exceptionally done, went above and beyond the initial ask. I was extremely pleased with Mintcon’s recent renovation of my basement. I provided some inspiration photos and the end result was very consistent with my expectations. My vision included a feature wall with linear fireplace and mantel, shelves on both sides of the fireplace, and a dog niche under the stairs. In addition, a 2 piece bathroom was constructed. Scott and his team were professional and took good care to minimize dust and debris by using dust extractors on their power tools. Scott communicated continually throughout the process to keep me informed of their timing, supply chain challenges and any issues that arose. I would definitely recommend Mint-con and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

The popcorn ceiling removal and painting far exceeded even my highest expectations. The result is flawless and adds height and a modern , clean feel to my home. The crew from Mintcon prepped and cleaned up with respect for my home and my allergies and were a pleasure to deal with. Once we used Mintcon for our first project (redoing our downstairs) we have never looked back. You cannot find a more competent, caring and organised (!) contractor! We would not hesitate to recommend Mintcon for any of your construction needs big or small. Best part is very neat and clean! Very important when you live in the home where the work is being done. I contracted Scott (Mintcon) to take care of installing some fixtures in my new home which entailed some challenging heights, as well as electrical, drywall and painting work. Scott and his team did an excellent job on all of the work and they were meticulous in their attention to detail. They ensured I was completely satisfied and kept my home clean and organized throughout the duration of the work. They are very customer-service oriented, pleasant and professional. Mintcon team helped me when I moved into a new home in Collingwood that was in desperate need of painting and many updates. It included paint to crown molding, baseboards, living room, main floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Some rooms needed 3 coats of paint to cover dark walls. The work included other miscellaneous jobs like toilet replacement, weather stripping, hanging pictures, mirrors and removing an old tin shed in the backyard. All done by agreeable and pleasant people who tidied up after each job.Good work so I highly recommend them.
