If you love nature like me, you would love the trails, the beach, lakes and the rivers. Nice for a solemn getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Good place for meditation and refocusing.Be sure to go for the boat ride and visit the trails. You can also fish on some designated rivers.Lots of fun activities.

The only info i have on this place is,ma mother an faither named the house they built in the early to mid 1960's after Waskesiu.These days the cottage is called Midfield.

So much to see and do. Even in the winter months. The wildlife is amazing! So many critter big and small. Photographers paradise.

Love the townsite, love the lake, love the campground. No fires allowed, but we had our propane fire pit and that was ok. Lovely full-service campground. You can choose private, well-treed sites or open, sunny sites. We hope to come back soon! The week in Waskesiu was worth the 10 hour drive!
