Gave us approval for a dog... document and adoption papers and last second gave it to another family....so un professional...so many other shelter or SPCA....and we chose this place. Such a waste of our time...in all we visited the facility at least a dozen times with our daughter vesting so much of her heart and effort... loving one particular dog, and they nix it.Ps: I'd give them zero stars, but it wasn't an option.. zero is for Danielle, the owner. No misunderstanding. Ellyn received a congratulations letter. We said in the interview that we were leaving for a 2-week vacation. Ellyn has been visiting Rainbow since October. No one had shown interest in her. All of a sudden, she has a foster family? She met with Rainbow and her fostering family. Since we were out of the country, our daughter was apprehensive in bringing the dog home with nobody home because our kids are school. I'm retired, so a dog would've been a great addition to our family...2 weeks really made that much of a difference to you. We started the process to fulfill all the obligations as per your request...but you made it as difficult as possible that our daughter was in tears...when she called us here in Central America....idk about any misunderstanding taking place but it will not change our view....of your animal rescue...when you have so many other ways or resources to adopt or rescue a pet.It was nice knowing you, Rainbow.Regards,BillUpdate....03/14 I suppose things happen for a reason, meet our new family member...Jessy...she's 4 and the perfect Lil lady. Looks right at home....after only 3 days.We firmly still believe in adopting rescue dogs or other animals.Good luck in your pursuit.

A safe place for animals. Their open house on Sunday is a must visit even if you’re not looking to adopt right away. Great cafe on site with complimentary beverages and snacks/treats

I'm torn because I do think they treat their animals very well, but I just can't get behind the fact that there are SO many dogs that have been here for SO long. It breaks my heart, and at the end of the day what matters here is the wellbeing of these poor animals. Not to mention some of their responses to some of these reviews are incredibly unprofessional -- literally look like things I would write when I was an angry, edgy teenager.I understand wanting to find the right homes and I understand the need to filter" people

One of the few rescues that cares about their dogs and is not doing this for profit. Amazing place with very deserving dogs. Went to many open houses and finally sent an application. Received a response back within a couple hours and by the week after we were able to adopt our little guy. Amazing rescue, not sure what to think about the negative comments as they were very welcoming and helpful.

Looks like the animals here have a TON of outdoor space to enjoy. The staff are friendly, if you're visiting with young kids just be aware that not every dog there is friendly (they are all leashed either way). Some are very friendly and waiting to be adopted while others are being worked on for their behavior. The staff are very good at telling you if the dog they're walking is being worked on so I didn't feel concerned at all. Definitely worth a visit, just be sure to book an appointment if you're not going on an open house day.

We got our dog Mocha from dog tales, its been almost a year now and he’s been an absolute dream. The whole experience with dog tales has been incredible. They truly care about finding the right fit between dog and owner. They brought out multiple dogs that fit our requirements for us to meet outside. They also provide you with comprehensive health history and behaviour history of the dog so there can be no surprises, as well as free behaviour training sessions. We love our dog Mocha, a year in and he has been settling in super well, especially for a rescue! He is quiet and relaxed but extremely sweet and affectionate, just a great dog and fantastic fit for our personality and lifestyle. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a dog.
