Wood Falls

A beautiful waterfall on the Manigitogan River. A great fishing spot, often with Pickerel/Walleye, Jack, Bass, and maybe more. There are a few spots on the northern bank where it can be easy to snag a hook however, so be prepared. The falls are dangerous, and not recommended to canoe or kayak over due to the plentiful rocks and current at the bottom of the falls.If the water is low however, it is possible to walk into the falls, and find a hidden air pocket underneath/behind a ledge of rock and water, just large enough to fit 3 crouching people. This is not safe, and should only be done at your own risk of course - the water flow can be quite strong!
