Dave's a good mechanic with fair prices. Got an estimate, had him do the work, picked up the car and she ran good. Not only that but work turned out to be a bit cheaper than the original estimate. I can't say i've ever paid less than what i've been quoted at any other shop.

Dave's been my mechanic for over 5 years and I've always trusted him. He's an excellent mechanic that offers fair and competitive prices. I was able to extend the life of my used car because of him and his staff.

The best experience tuning up my 2001 Toro lawnmower - I will go to Dave's exclusively from now on. Not only the cheapest (half the price of a tuneup at London Small Engine Repair), but also the fastest turnaround of 3 business days even in the busy spring season (when London Small Engine set a delay of 3 weeks to complete the same service for twice the money), and of course caring and guaranteed value service! Very respectful Jamaican man, honest, straightforward, does not oversell, and guarantees his work.By the mistake of being attracted to a greater number of positive reviews I first went to London Small Engine Repair (adelaide and commissioners) because i needed to get my lawnmower tuned up as it ran sputteringly on even relatively short grass (i previously erroneously changed the oil on it by flipping the unit to its side and inadvertently flooding the carburetor, air filter, etc with oil). Guy there was very welcoming and nice but told me i'd have to wait 3 weeks. Little did i know, what he meant was (and i had to find this out 3 days before the 3 weeks were up by calling in myself to inquire how it's going) that they didn't even estimate the work to be done nor have taken any look into my mower - in other words if any parts needed to be ordered it could very well take longer than the agreed-upon 3 week period - the guy could not guarantee my lawnmower would be ready by the agreed-upon date. After having rented a mower twice over the 2.5 week period, i immediately retrieved my mower and went to Dave's. I was so surprised to find out Dave would guarantee a 3-4 day turnaround, with $90 for the entire tuneup (London Small Engine quoted $175 plus parts). If you value a good service for the most value-price - GO TO DAVE'S over London Small Engine (those guys seem too busy anyway).After spilling oil into the carb, it never ran the same again after that - until Dave tuned it up, and my 17-year old mower came to 100% life and power as brand new. He even washed and detailed the mower, which was a nice touch, on top of the usual tuneup features (air filter replaced, carb cleaned out, spark plug replaced, oil changed) for a total of $90 and within 3 business days (ahead of his 3-4 day estimate). I could not have been a happier customer, and will return for any small engine needs.

We’re so grateful to Dave for fixing our snow blower! He made himself available almost immediately, was quick and thorough in assessing the issue, and had it working the next day! Fast, affordable and incredibly kind service. We’d recommend his work to anyone! :)
