Absolutely hands down one of the best meals we have had in along time. The flavours were phenomenal and everything was so fresh. The portions compared to the prices were excellent. Will be a returning customer!!

Small pub with a chill, kinda cheesy nautical vibe. Friendly, no-fuss service and really good wings. Outdoor seating in the warmer months, though this is probably fairly noisy as it's right on a major thoroughfare. Usually plenty of parking.

Step back in time in the best way possible. I would guess this place hasn't changed in years, including the friendly staff! Large portions of good food in this North end hidden gem restaurant.

Our second visit to this new discovered place down the road from us.Halibut is the best. We had it has a fillet the first time for $13 lunch spécial and these bite size pieces the second time for $12

What a great experience. I can't say enough about the service. Our lovely server was awesome. She even brought some fries on the house for our hungry kids. The food all around was good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I would definitely go back and recommend.

Old Jacky Boy was ne'er to be seen, but the wench behind the bar thrilled us with great service, and a fantastic eclectic taste in music. The food was as wonderful as the atmosphere, the fish and chips tasted like they sailed the Pearl out that morning. Thanks for making our one year anniversary date a fantastic evening.

It was my first time here, and at first glance there doesn't seem to be too much to this place. After a bit though, it was apparent that this place has many devotees as it filled up quickly with folks that clearly weren't here for the first time.The vibe is very welcoming and friendly.The beer selection is worth mentioning. Beside having a good lineup, they also have a pilsner that's brewed in house.The food was also good, with high regards going out to the halibut!

Excellent servers. Wings were great, the wing coating featured for a meat forward flavour while allowing the chosen sauce to compliment the wing rather than hide a mediocre quality. The house beer was a clean crisp pilsner that invited refills. The hallibut fish and chips were a quality choice. My only criticism was the quantity of fish for the price, however the portion of fries was generous. Finally the carrot cake\cheesecake dessert offering was outstanding. Looking forward to trying wing night on Wednesday. Small seating area but it was obvious the clientele seemed to consider this place a preferred neighborhood pub.
