Great friendly staff who create a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. The gaming space is bright, spacious and very well maintained. Plenty of stock for various games and interests. They have refreshments and snacks which is a great touch. A lovely gem in that part of town.

Great little game shop on King Street, in Preston in the newly forming Hobby District… Cards and Cords has a great selection of board games, puzzles, Warhammer and lots of collectible cards. Many of the Warhammer pieces are customizable and paintable, Cards and Cords has about a thousand colours available. CaC’s has a couple Warhammer boards set up for players of all ages to come in and roll the dice for victory. The prices are super competitive with online shops, so why not shop local. Jeff the proprietor knows his stuff and can really steer you in the right direction. There is lots of street parking on King St, with several city lots near by. Check them out.

Incredibly friendly place with an amazing community. They often stay open later than the posted hours to run event nights. I go regularly for Warhammer 40k: Kill Team night (every Wed) and there are so many great ppl to play with, or willing to teach. It's a special place, and I highly recommend every one checks out it.

Went in for a quick visit. Staff was very friendly as were the players playing at the time I was there. If I lived closer I would attend events here

Have a friend that attends this location for commander nights, I'm always skeptical about trying new places and meeting new people. Very glad I made the decision to come out and play! The owners are incredibly friendly, the people that play there are super nice and welcoming. Very homey feel and I am glad to say I will be attending there over my original gaming location going forward! Can't wait to play more tame tabletop gaming.

My new favourite hobby store! Pleasantly surprised by their stock of gundams. The owners are really cool people and clearly passionate about the store. Love the vibes and how welcoming the place is. Whether you're new to tabletop/collectible hobbies or a seasoned vet, this store is definitely a great stop! Will be returning despite living out of town!

Great little store. Friendly employees too.Growing selection of hobby supplies. Can bring in stuff you need also. Monument hobbies, AK, Army Painter, Citadel, Vallejo to name a few
