Siegel's Bagels
We got this to go for the next day. We got the rosemary sea salt and everything bagel as well as an order of the chipotle lime cream cheese. We enjoyed these the next morning. Luckily they were not stale nor chewy. I’m sure they would be even better warm and toasted.

Good bagels! I wish they put the full menu near the waiting line or the cashier. I didn't know they offer more options until I moved to the pick up counter. The service was slow especially if you ordered the sandwich. I enjoyed my club bagel with rosemary rocksalt. It was kinda pricey and small but it tasted great.

Some excellent bagels!! And incredible Haman pockets!!I’d recommend to ask for the “ last nights” bagels if you’re on a budgetI would stay away from “ almost gluten free” bagels.

Siegel's Bagels
We got there around 11am, so there was no line into Grenville island and we found parking in less than 10 mins. Now that contributed to our mood which made everything taste better…with that said, the bagels at Siegel’s were pretty good. We have been here over the decades but have never once tried siegel’s before. We were so happy that we finally did. For sure we will be back for a light and easy breakfast on the move.

Solid bagels made fresh. Some great flavours with good cream cheese variety. If you have had some of the best bagels in Montreal these are not as good but there are some of the best I’ve had in Van.

Tasted really great! Unfortunately I find the price to be way too expensive. I was expecting a nice packed bagel as I payed 15$ but it was quite flat and I wasn’t even full after. A bit disappointed but still tasted pretty good.

For as busy as the market gets, the setup here doesn't seem very efficient. We waited in line and watched the 4 or 5 employees work. The wait was far longer than it needed to be. They were still weighing out portions of meat for sandwiches per order. This is something that could be prepped ahead to save time. But, in the end, the bagels are fresh and delicious and we enjoyed them.

Yummy Montreal st breakfast bagel sandwich. But not worth the super long wait. Seigel unfortunately has been busy and packed every time I visited Granville island.

Sooo good! My only regret is not trying a cream cheeses they have! The sammi was so amazing! Definitely go for breakfast at Granville Island! Seigals bagels is where it's at!

So bagel texture preference is definitely a subjective topic depending on where you come from, but it's a solid 3 star from this Seattlelite. For being freshly made, when we sat down to eat these fresh warm bagels they were surprisingly hard and lacked that satisfying chew you'd expect. Pictured is the everything bagel with sun dried tomato spread. Recommend not waiting in line if it looks more than 10 minutes to order.
