Golden Pearl Restaurant
This restaurant has become the worst place that I’ve visited. Don’t get me wrong, the food was okay but there were 2 things that became a letdown.1. The dishes were not clean. Before I had a nice cup of green tea, I noticed that there was a small of food sticking at the side in which I removed. Didn’t complain so I figured let’s enjoy the night.2. Paying tip. Now I thought this place was an okay area to enjoy some good food. But in the end, there were 2 dumb waitresses who have been telling me to pay tip after dinner. Not cool.First off, if I’m going to pay tip, I’ll pay it as long as the atmosphere is great, good customer service and some condiments for the food. Instead, forcing me to pay tip is a massive letdown, bad customer service and no soy sauce on the table. Overall, this restaurant should stay closed and forever closed until there’s a new management or a new store. I’ve had my share of dining at Chinese restaurants and this is not one of them. Would not recommend to anyone. Go search for a nicer one.

Dont order the beef and brocolli! They put so little beef inside its almost a rip off! And all they could say is its not fair to put so much meat u have to pay for extra meat if u want more". So let see

While the food was good and the service was fantastic, I was pretty unimpressed with the hygiene.It was a very slow night at the restaurant, and the bathroom was disgusting. It smelled like a campground portapotty. Very dirty.Also, as I was walking back to my table there was a large plate of raw meat sitting out on a table in the open. If food prep absolutely must be done in the dining area, at least get it done quickly instead of walking away from it.So while I enjoyed the food while I was eating it and loved the service/portions, I left the restaurant feeling a little grossed out.Makes me worried about the quality/hygiene of the food being served and what happens back in the kitchen.Picture attached is the “raw meat plate”.

I have ordered in and also gotten take out, and each time is has been DELICIOUS food. I haven't had good chinese since i was younger. This is now my go to restaurant to both orxer in and takeout. Thank you so much for the nostalgic feel of your delicious food !

Awful dry garlic spareribs. it taste like fish. They’ve used old fish oil to fried the pork ribs. disgusting smells and taste.

Very good food at a super reasonable price. Also a bonus is they can make certain dishes gluten free by request. Not 100% GF (cross contamination a possibility) but very close.

So disappointed!!! We got take out tonight They came highly recommended but the food quality was so poor. The chow mein was burnt, the carrots in the pork were not fresh at all and the taste was average. Will never go back!

Food has really gone downhill. Tastes like they haven’t changed their oil in ages. I work across the street and have slowly been eating here less and I think I’m finally completely done with it now.

Being a first time customer I really must say:Terrible food quality...Mediocre service, borderline rude.We ordered beef-broccoli in black bean sauce and it was rotten broccoli with chewy/gummy beef.Also ordered sweet/sour pork that turned out all dried up after it was most likely nuked in the microwave from frozen.The lemon chicken was the only 1/2 decent dish.The restaurant is not high volume enough to wip the order out in 5 to 10 minutes, obviously it was all microwaved.Forget it, not worth it...
