Juravinski Hospital Emergency Room

Went to the emergency at 11 pm for Hight Blood pressure chest pain and I never see a Doctor at 4 30 am I decide to go home and leave my life to God ..patients sleeping on the floor with not medical attention .the old school nurse they do not care.2 nurses running like chicken the rest sitting in the nurse station all night .a Doc came around 3 30 am saw 2 patients and disappeared .you never go to juravinsky at night the treatment is poor they do not care about your life God help us !

My care here on my visits for (unfortunately) a number of kidney stone attacks has always been professional with the doctors explaining things with laymen terms for better understanding. Yes there is unfortunately a long wait but this as no fault of the nurses and doctors; please treat them with respect. Location is thankfully closeby to where I live.

If there was the possibility to rate 0 stars I would, my dad is a cancer patient and was taken here by ambulance when we called 911. Since we arrived, there have been such long wait times, they tell me there is only one doctor at the moment and even though my dad is in really strong pain, none of the staff here would help him at all. One of the nurses here is being rude to him, she doesn't give him any medications for the pain at all because apparently she is not allowed to do that" and every time I ask her about it

Went into the emergency today for abdominal pelvic pain .I was sad and worried about possibly having cancer again . The staff at juravinski emergency were absolutely wonderful. Kind caring attentive empathetic nurses. Especially my nurse Dani and the doctor that seen me .

The wait time are unreasonably long for people visiting the ER and in need urgent care. I understand wait time can be long but what I do not appreciate is waiting that long and having the staff talk to you like they have no patience for you, and talking down to you. Unacceptable.

The Website should really show an accurate wait time, I went at 8pm when the site said 48 minute wait. Within an hour I had x-rays done which I thought wow x-rays and I haven't even seen the Dr (or left the waiting room), my mistake cause after the x-ray I sat in the waiting room for another 2 hours for a nurse to pull 5 people into the back and the doctor to spend 7 minutes with me (while taking a phone call) to say I hadn't broken my hand. Takes 2 hours to read the picture doesn't seem reasonable

I checked the ER wait times before I left home and Juravinski was only a 33-minute wait. Only two people ahead of me when I got there so I felt good about getting seen in a reasonable amount of time. It took 20 minutes of waiting just to be able to tell them I was waiting. The triage window was without a nurse for 15 minutes. When I asked for an eta at the three-hour mark, the nurse said there are people who have been waiting for 5 hours. I was done waiting. This isn't reasonable by any standards. This isn't a third world country. But this is how we're treated and then we're judged for reacting to the way we're treated.

The Emergency Department Team at Juravinski are a terrific group of Healthcare Professionals who have my deepest respect and gratitude for their hard work, their willingness to listen and their humanity.These are extremely challenging times for all Hospitals and the professionals who keep them running and serving patients, despite unprecedented conditions.I have had to turn to this ER team twice in less than a week and I have nothing but praise for the care I recieved.The first visit left me impressed and thankful. The second visit left me convinced this is an exceptional team.I found the two doctors I dealt with, Dr Mattina and Dr Mallin, were terrific, both were great listeners and very patient with me.The nurses who cared for me were all excellent, including Isaac, Nicola, Lorraine and Dani.It can't be a coincidence I encountered so many exceptional healthcare professionals in two separate visits. This has to be the result of great teamwork by people who care and are determined to demonstrate both skill and humanity under pressure.I am deeply grateful for the care I received.

I would give 0 Stars but not available !! I arrived into the Emergency Acceptance area at 4:30PM and received a bed at 10:30 PM and waited 3 more hours for a doctor to se me !! A 9 hour wait before anything started happening, then X-Rays/ Bloodwork which had taken another 2 hours to process !! I departed the ER at 3:30AM with a Prescription 11 hours later !! OUR HEALTH CARE FACILTIES ARE FALLING APART ?? THIS IS TOTALLY Unacceptable Service that requires a total Overhaul from TOP to BOTTOM !!! NEVER GOING BACK !!!
