New go-to spot the food was amazing! We got the ramen, my friend ordered extra pork, egg, and noodles and they literally doubled the amounts to the point he ended up with a larger bowl to make it all fit. The price is good and the quality is great. Highly recommend.

This place is one of my new favourite spots. I went with a friend, and we can both agree that the food is immaculate. I got the Chicken Katsu Bento, and meat (even though it was chicken) was still so juicy and tender, and with the nice crisp, it really complimented everything. The curry itself (that I was able to put on it) really complimented all of the flavours of the dish. Everything about the food was marvellous, even the rice itself was amazing. The setting and the temperature of the restaurant was so comforting, that I felt like I was eating back at home. The worker at the store was so nice and sweet, and they made the food super quickly. I usually don’t leave reviews for places, but I just had to because I felt like I was ascending when I ate it fr.

A small shop with some great, big flavor. Yoshi Express has been a wonderful spot for my time in Edmonton. Delicious options for Japanese cuisine that can be eaten in store or easily taken to-go. Very friendly staff that hand-prepped the food quickly and happily.

Ordered out the curry katsu and takoyaki. The curry was tasty and the pork crispy and tender. Delicious and I'd definitely order it again.The takoyaki however were really not good. This is the first time ive had them, so perhaps something for me to personally avoid. However octopus is delicious, bread is delicious how could I go wrong with a combo of both. And I've been always been excited to try them. If there was any crispiness it had gone by the time I had them. Just a wet soft runny gooey seemingly undercooked bread product with quite a hard chewy piece of octopus in the centre. Really unappetizing. I plan on ordering them again from somewhere else to see if it's just a personal thing though.

Ramen was absolutely phenomenal. The broth was very rich in flavour and the ingredients each complimented the soup wonderfully. The shop owner is super friendly and overall the place is worth the trip to visit.

This is definitely an unassuming hole-in-the-wall… and it is absolutely amazing!! All dishes we had were full of flavour and so fresh tasting. We ordered one tonkotsu ramen and one spicy tonkotsu ramen as well as an order of takoyaki. Seriously sooo good.

The tonkatsu ramen is super tasty and the perfect food to warm me up on a chilly day!! The gentleman workong is also super friendly and an excellent cook!! Highly recommend!!

Overall food experience was good. The pork burger's patty was huge! Hence the price. The takoyaki was fresh, the octopus pops in your mouth with every chew.

One of the best japanese bento I have here in Edmonton. Pork Katsu was crispy and delicious! The sauce goes with beef bento was great too. Just so Japanese". It'll be perfect if the gyoza could cook a bit more crispy. Will definitely go back again!"
