Homestead At Wolf Ridge Golf Course and Driving Range

Played this course yesterday. I play around 60 rounds of 18 a year at different courses. The greens here had just been aerated but it was still fun. This course has a nice layout. There are some challenging holes that require good course management skills and accuracy and some holes where you can swing away off the tee. Same with your approach shots. The clubhouse isn't much if you are looking for a place to hangout after your round. Nice driving range area. Besides the clubhouse the other component that does not allow me to give the course higher than 4 star are the bunkers. In one word, rough. Would recommend taking your ball out of them. They are basically dirt, similar to a dirt driveway. Overall a good value for the price because of the design of the course. I will play it every time I am up this way visiting family.

Played for the first time. Great course! Love the rolling hills, rocks and views. I much prefer to walk than take a cart. Some cool walks through the woods from hole to hole.

Great layout with interesting holes. Greens were the slowest I ever played. Grass on the greens was so long that the ball bounces around like a ping pong. Please cut and roll them out and I'll recommended this place to everyone.

We really enjoyed playing this course. We played 3 times while on vacation and the course is challenging but very fair. The course is dried out now that it is mid July but is very playable and the roll is great. We will go back as soon as we are in the area again. Great sand traps and very good greens. Loved it Loved it Loved it.

I play this course every time I'm up at the cottage in Round Lake. The course has a great layout with some very interesting holes. It's a challenging walk, especially the front nine, but it's well worth it for some of the views of the valley, especially in the fall.There have been some conditioning challenges over the years, but the course was in very good shape my last few visits, with a few soggy spots due to all the rain they've had this summer.The staff are very accommodating; they were always able to find me a tee time as a single. Warwick and Rose are friendly and great to deal with.

This family never disappoints. Gary, Jason, Shannon and (staff) family, thank you somuch for another wonderful year at your resort. Just when we thought that you could not top last year…you did! Your hospitality and service are amazing. Food was delicious, drinks were tasty (best Margarita ever Shannon), accommodations were great and the course is in beautiful shape. Thank you so much for welcoming our Vj’Open Women’s Group every year. We love you guys!

This course was really nice. Enjoyed our round a lot. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that the fairways were long. I read a lot of comments saying the greens were long, which was not the case this time. The greens were great. Fairways need some attention. Would recommend playing here regardless.

If you want to walk the golf course do not play here. We walked and played 9 holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes ... within the 15 minute per hole recommended time frame. We were harassed by other golfers in driving carts warranting the Marshall to follow us. Ruined our game and enjoyment! Will never play here again.

Really good course. Would recommend not going after raining the day/night before. Back nine was really wet. Other than that the greens were slow as some have said. They felt just right. Bet greens in the Ottawa valley so far.

Played here several times. Course is well maintained. Good value, some beautiful holes. The only complaint would be the slow speed of the greens. Feels like a 1 or 2 on a stimpmeter. You really got to knock your putt quite hard for the ball to get rolling. Some areas on the back 9 can get muddy and swampy. Either than that, great course, good value.
