Over at Leona's Stone and Building Supplies, it seems the staff might only recognize a buyer if they pranced in with a credit card serving as a shiny forehead brooch. Perhaps they're simply too immersed in the poetry of pebbles to bother assisting customers. Combining these chiseled reviews with my own Monty Python-esque expedition, it's as if they're unfazed by the landslide of potential sales that effortlessly rolls out of their lot daily. Certainly a head-scratching rock to business logic, if there ever was one!

Beware when dealing with this company. Sealers and other products are non-refundable, and anything that is refundable must be done within 15 days. I bought 2 drums of sealer for my patterned concrete driveway, but could only seal the driveway 3 weeks after buying the sealer due to rainy weather - and only needed 1 drum. When I tried to return it - was told the above. When I asked why someone didn't explain that to me when I bought the drums, the owner said because you didn't ask". Very poor customer service and attitude. Go somewhere else."

Good store, great selection of products.

I am a contractor and Im in the landscaping business. On friday, I went inside the store to try and make an exchange for the same product. The one thing that i find extremely disgusting is the lack of humanity in this place. The people inside the office are so cold and rude. It makes you never want to step back in there. Especially if you deal with someone named Frank (think hes the owner). Hes the most rude Ive ever seen. When you as a customer spend money at a business, you expect some sort of customer service. I simply asked if i could exchange size for size (After I had spent almost ($2 thousand dollars) He started raising his voice “No exchanges, not returns!” . My god terrible. People I highly recommend you avoid this place. Go down to 404 stone (Literally 5 minutes down the road). They are so much better and so much more friendly its not even funny. These people look like they hate their jobs.

A lady at the front desk, after just inquiring about the price, got out of control and kept shouting. The attitude is so bad, why does such a fierce front desk need to be in the service industry? If she is emotionally unstable, she can try another job that doesn't need to talk.

Don't listen to the people that can't hear reality and think customer is always right. This company is a gem. I have dealt with them the past 3 years on a daily basis buying supplies for my landscape contractor business. They were the first to welcome me as customers. Service is excellent if you respect their business and expertise. The yard guys are the best I've ever seen working at this type of business. They help, treat you like the most important part of the business. Leona Stone is only company that does not look at the company size they service. They bend over backwards to meet your needs. Be nice and you get great service, be cheap and try to benefit as much as you want and you will hear that there are limits to what can be done. I highly recommend Leona stone, a business where you can build a long term business trust relationship.To all those with negative reviews, i have seen many of you when i was at the office. Ridiculous demands and questions that you can simply deal with it yourself with a bit of planning. The covid times are hard on supply and i have heard numerous your questions being answered but you kept pushing for what you wanted to hear and not what is reality and stated on their rules of business. You cant purchase a small amount of material and try to return half of it soiled, you cant expect next day delivery with material shortages and a building product business is not your project manager nor contractor that you are too cheap to hire.

Worst customer service ever. The older gentleman was incredibly rude. I went to ask him for assistance and he basically told my I'm on my own my own and to help myself. He then proceeded to walk past me yell at another lady viewing their display. Don't waste your time here. Go to 404 Stone down the street or Beaver Valley in Markham!

I’m shocked at these reviews! Everyone here is extremely hardworking, honest and easy to deal with. This is not the hug store, if you want experienced and knowledgeable, straight forward people I would recommend Leona from the bottom of my heart.

I regret going to Leona stone today, wanted to order some loose limestone screening and the owner was extremely rude. He could not provide me with delivery time and when I questioned him about it he told me he does not want my business. I went next door and got what I wanted along with a pleasant atmosphere. He is a toxic and miserable old man

I went here with my father, spending the day to figure out what we wanted and needed. The next day I called to ask a few questions about pricing and what they would suggest for certain things, before I placed my order. Unfortunately, I never got to place my order as the gentleman that picked up the phone was absolutely miserable from the get-go, giving the impression that I was inconveniencing him, and he progressively got angrier with each question I asked. I ignored his poor customer service until it got to a point where he told me “I don’t know sir, I can’t help you over the phone, we don’t figure that out”, so I said “ok thanks man” and hung up the phone.Without exaggeration, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. On top of that, these folks really need to rethink their business model. They have no prices posted, nor do they have a physical price list, nor do they have a website with the prices listed, which by design is inevitably going to frustrate both the workers and the customers. If the prices are rapidly changing, then make a word document with the prices, and change them as they change with the push of a few buttons and print copies for the customers asking for them. I really feel for these folks, as their poor customer service resulted in them losing a couple of bucks from me, and from the looks of the reviews, I am far from the only one. This is money that will surely ensure the longevity of their business and livelihood in these uncertain times, and they are easily letting it slip away. I would have much preferred to give my money to a family-owned business than a chained supplier, but I don’t want my stone at the cost of getting emotionally abused (probably physically too if I was at the store asking questions). I wish them the best of luck, and I hopethis review, in tandem with the others here, ultimately serves to help them. I really do mean that.I drove 15 seconds further down the road, chose to pay higher prices to receive better customer service and keep my dignity. It was a great choice.
