Dollarama

I really like this dollarama but I give it a 1 star rating because I do not like the fact they have the school kids lining up outside in the cold. Not a nice thing to do. Hopefully management can intervene and change this ridiculous policy.

Great place but the management needs to learn some manners treating the poor security guard lady the way he did.

They have the school children standing outside in the cold, with the door locked, waiting to get in the store. I find it very disturbing.

One cashier and was slow when scanning my items. There's no plastic bags. Items were on the floor or scattered on the selves. Slightly bigger than other Dollaramas. Toy selection was good.

Yesterday, I went into this Dollarama to buy one item - a favourite treat from the cookies aisle. Of course, I wandered happily through this nicely-merchandised, clean store and bought a whole armful of items. One item was a cold bottle of pop from the fridge by the checkout. First of all, I am so happy that there are people at the checkouts, that we don't have to deal with the checkout machines at this particular store because I want the workers to have jobs. Not to be replaced by machines in retail. Not fair.Anyway, the young female Cashier was delightful, helpful and thoughtful, even voluntarily inserting my greeting cards into a separate Dollarama plastic bag so they wouldn't get wet from the pop condensation on the outside of the bottle. She looked me in the eye, smiled, thanked me and wished me a good day. That's topnotch customer service and greatly appreciated by me. I love the various Dollarama stores; this one deserves excellent recognition, too. Thank you to this Cashier, to that store's Manager who obviously has trained the Cashier well, and also to Dollarama. Makes me happy.

Found most of the items looking for, not long line up at cash, the cashier was professional and processed our orders with accuracy, overall ok

An okay Dollarama to shop at, not the best, but definitely not the worst either. The selection of different products was decent and I liked the fact that they don't have those annoying self-checkout machines that some other locations often force their customers to use. The downsides were that there was often only one cashier available and they also don't offer any plastic shopping bags, only reusable ones which cost more to purchase.
