We waited 11 hours just to be told they are unable to diagnose the illness and we should go to Hamilton general.

If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would 100% do that. This is by far the worst hospital I've ever visited in my entire life. And I spent a whole yr in a Romanian hospital during communism. Waited over 6 hrs to get an xray and pee test for my daughter. She's been complaining of stomach pains so I decided to bring her to closest emergency centre. I wish I knew the terrible service and horrendous wait times here, I would have driven 20 min extra to a different hospital and been home on time for dinner which im now over 2 hrs late for thanks to the lack of staff and attention. I'd rather die in a ditch than ever come back here again

I cannot express how grateful I am for the care my husband has received at this facility. He arrived to emerg with a collapsed lung. From the emergency room to the 3rd floor, this hard-working team is beyond exceptional. Being cared for by such professional, kind and compassionate staff - especially during these difficult times - has truly been a blessing.

My husband was at his work truck in Selkirk and sliced the palm of his hand, drove over to the ER here. He waited 2.5 hrs, they took his blood pressure 4x, wrapped his hand 3 times so he wouldn'tbleed all over. After2.5hrs he still had not seen a doctor. He signed himself out and drove to Dunnville hospital. Within 45 mins he had 10 stitches put in. Avoid this hospital at all costs!!! I wouldn't send my dog here!!

Don't get me wrong it's a nice hospital but there a few doctors that honestly shouldn't be practicing here cause they have poor bedside manners , they misdiagnosed a few people and have almost put them into even a worst condition that came in with

Went in for an infected cat bite. Due to an incoming emergency and shortage of staff I had to wait six hours to be helped. However, the staff on duty was friendly and accommodating. Following times I went in for rabies follow up I got excellent and quick help. I will come back here.

Nurses in this e.r are dangerously negligent. Wait times are outrageous. There's usually only one doctor on duty. Be prepared to sit and wait for hours while listening to the slew of nurses gossiping and discussing their personal lives with one another.But still beats Simcoe!

I had COVID. My oxygen was sitting at 95% and I had a hard time breathing while waiting. Vomiting and diarrhea too. Fever. You name it. I wasn’t given anything except a barf bag. I waited 3 hours on a slow night only to be told “go home. Drink some water and take Tylenol you’re fine”. Dr Cloudy is known for this. The nurses were nice and fast. Dr Cloudy also smelled of cigarettes once he arrived at my room after a 3 hour wait. Pathetic. I may as well have went to Brantford or Hamilton instead. On the bright side I received treatment elsewhere. Bruh after going to this hospital? I COULD EVEN BE A BETTER DOCTOR. Don’t waste your time, just go somewhere else

Even on a slow night, the wait time was exorbitant! Might as well have driven into Hamilton. Nurses are watching movies on phones/tablets and eating chips as the one doctor is trying to race around and see everyone. I understand that the doctor needs to be the one to see the patients but help him by actually assisting. I watched more than one patient get up to leave because it was taking too long, to only then be told your next. This hospital needs more staff forsure!
