Soins Mille Pattes

Samantha and Gail are quite simply the most attentive, caring, and capable cat-sitters we've ever had the privilege of hiring. We contacted them on very short notice during what we're sure was a very busy period, and they were happy to accommodate. One of our cats has special needs (asthma inhaler), which Gail was able to administer without a problem. Not only this, but she sent us daily reports on how both of our cats were doing, as well as photos. We have already recommended their services to several friends, and strongly advise anyone reading this review to book them without hesitation. The piece of mind they provide is well worth the already more than reasonable fee they charge. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I knew S was exceptional when, years ago, she remarked on Isaac’s excited anti-clockwise scurry around the kitchen at dinner time: both the habit and the direction. It’s that eye for detail, that sort of observation, that makes her daily updates so reassuring and often hilarious. I actually look forward to her inimitable texts as part of any holiday. And now that the borders will shortly be opening, I will soon be in a position to remind her that she doesn’t charge nearly enough!

I hired Bryan from Soins mille pattes to take care of my 17 year old cat and my 10 year old dog while my mother and I went away on vacation. I was pretty nervous to leave the animals for so long, but Bryan assured me that he would take care of them to the best of his ability. He stayed with them for six days and showed incredible commitment to their care and also went above and beyond my expectations (he tended my garden and I didn't even ask!!). When I consulted with Bryan before his stay he handled my dog Toby, who is afraid of strangers, extremely well. Toby is a big Labrador who is pretty intimidating, but Bryan knew exactly how to deal with Toby's nervousness. Bryan also gave my cat his IV bag regularly as a treatment for kidney failure. If anyone out there has ever had to give an IV to a cat, they know that it is a challenge.After my experience with Bryan at Soins mille pattes I will never go back to boarding Toby at the vet or at the kennel when I go away. When I got home from vacation my animals were so much less stressed than usual. I could tell that Bryan treated them very well and followed my instructions carefully. Toby did not seem anxious at all around him, which is an indication that Bryan really did take the time to play and work with Toby, instead of just letting Toby hide under the table when he was scared.I highly recommend the services of Soins mille pattes. My experience with their services has been excellent. Bryan clearly cares for animals and it shows in his amazing warmness towards them, and his dedication to their comfort and happiness. After all my years of being a pet owner I know that it is rare to find service like theirs!

Experienced, sensible, unflappable, reliable, trustworthy. Very reassuring to have Samantha taking care of my menagerie while I was away. Would definitely book again!

Love love love Samantha! My dog Sofi loves her too. I've been a customer for 3+ years now. Sofi is always so excited when Samantha comes to pick her up! You can tell she really loves animals. She's great at always letting me know the days she will come, and has been super flexible for any schedule changes. She also sends me really cute pics of Sofi each walk. I can't recommend Soins Mille Pattes enough.

What can I say about both Samantha and Gail (Thor’s dog walker)! From the minute they both walked into my apartment in March to meet my bouncy and super energetic 9 month old American cocker spaniel, Thor loved them, as did I and I had a really good feeling about both Samantha and Gail and was super delighted Gail would be able to walk Thor. Both were so friendly, chatty and so good with Thor They stayed and took the time to get to know Thor and bond with him. I have never once, regretted my decision to hire Gail as my dog walker. Gail is such a lovely person, very kind and a huge animal lover, every day she treated Thor like he was her own. I remember in particular when he was sick for about 3 weeks back April time, Gail went out of her way to help, by bringing some food she thought he would eat (he did!) and she took such good care of him, as she did every day.I knew he was in good hands, and I didn’t have to worry. He was well walked and always sleeping by the time I got home, which meant that he got the exercise he was supposed to. Thor developed a strong bond with Gail as I’m sure Gail did with Thor and I’m only sorry I can’t take Gail back to the UK with me to continue his walks her, she will be sorely missed! The notes Gail left me on a daily basis gave me a lovely insight to their daily walks and what my little bear cub had been up! My condo’s day manager quoted Gail as ‘very gentle and was always attentive and kind, but firm when she needed to be with him! She would recommend Soins Mille Pattes to anyone, (as would I) , who was looking for a walker / helper / visitor for their beloved pets.I wish both Samantha and Gail all the luck for their business and any dog who gets to have Gail as their walker is one lucky pooch!All the best,Niamh and Thor xx

For two weeks this past summer, Mille Pattes gave extraordinary care to our young, shy cat, whose name is Patch. Patch came in our lives by showing up on the doorstep during a blizzard last winter; he takes time to warm up to people, but, truly, he's loves and needs the company of others.The first time we hired a business to take care of Patch, we were so disappointed when the person who visited him said that they didn't even really see him, let alone pet or play with him. We were sorry Patch had to go through that, he must have been so lonely. Whoever takes care of him needs to be patient and persistently yet gently affectionate. When I described all of this to Bryan at Mille Pattes, Bryan said he could come over to meet our cat first, so that my presence would help Patch feel safe when meeting somebody new.I really really appreciate that Bryan met Patch first, it was crystal clear that he wants what's best for the animals, and he completely understood my concern. He was tremendously patient as I took a lot of time to explain every detail of Patch's routine, then at the end of our consultation, Bryan asked if the plants needed to be watered. It was awesome that he'd noticed the plants. Once we left town, Bryan sent text message updates for the first few days. It was such a relief to hear that Patch was warming up, coming out to play, eating everything, and that tey were starting to bond. I almost cried when I got the first message because until that moment we were really worried that our poor kitty was going to be miserable.Bryan did a number of other extra sweet things for us, he went above and beyond in every way possible, but in the end it was just awesome to come home to a fairly relaxed and content creature who had obviously been thoroughly loved. That's the best scenario possible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Mille Pattes!

AMAZING! they have been walking my dog for 2 years. amazing service, and attention to the dog. As a doggy mom, I trust them with my eyes closed.

Samantha is a gem and we are so lucky to have found her ! Our two cats warmed up to her rather quickly — it wasn’t difficult , she is so kind, gentle and patient with them! I am sure they look forward to her visits! Samantha was kind enough to update me with photos to let me know how they were doing while I was away. It really put me at ease! I am so happy and relieved knowing my cats are in good hands when I am away! I cannot refer Soins Milles Pattes enough! Thanks again!!

I have known Samantha for over 7 years and she has always cared for our cats with love , dedication and professionalism . I recently left my cat in Samantha’s care following a major emergency surgery and in need of medication ( liquid, pills and subcutaneous fluids ) , knowing he would be cared for as well as I could /would have. I am truly relaxed when I am away from home, knowing that my cat is being loved and well cared for . Samantha is truly a cat sitter extraordinaire!
