Headingley Traffic Services

On the way from work I got stopped by RCMP Headingley Central Traffic Services. They indicated that I do not have my car insurance and gave me $970 in tickets. Knowing that there is should be insurance, I attempted to ask constable for the chance to contact my MPI agent but he refused. I was told that I cannot longer drive and I ended up walking down highway in blizzard like condition to the nearest MPI location. While I was walking, I started to have signs of heart attack and returned to my car to get some rest and warm up. Ambulance attended: - I have blood clots and heart issues. I refused to go to hospital due to the fact that constable was insisting me getting my insurance issue addressed and as responsible person I was listening.Shortly after, I ended up making another attempt to walk down highway to the nearest MPI location where everything was straightened out. I realize that constables were doing their jobs but they cannot treat everyone as criminals as they do. Hate most likely is not in RCMP job description. It would be nice for RCMP staff to listen and allow citizen to make a call to insurance company to resolve. I was driving the same route to work through Headingley area for almost twenty years and never imagined that RCMP will make me walk along highway passing through busy intersections, struggling with the high winds and getting splashed by another cars driving by. It is very unsafe and inhumane.
