Horizon Inn

DO NOT stay here if you have allergies. I was lied to on the phone while booking when the receptionist said it was a pet-free building. I arrived to find out it was not pet-free but I gave the room a chance anyways. The room smelled very musty and I immediately had breathing problems. After trying to sleep for a couple hours (it was too late to drive anywhere and find a new hotel) I woke up with an asthma attack and was forced to sleep in my truck in -10 degree weather. Not impressed.Booked several nights here but checked out after the first awful night. My lungs are still recovering, it was the worst asthma attack I've had in my adult life.

It was tidy. I checked in at 9 on the 27th and the reception was a lovely lady to deal with. The rooms were nice. Small bathtubs tho. Not the cleanest as i found blood in the toilet seat. Needs work in the bathroom area definitely. Rooms are a bit small for the price of the stay. But breakfast makes it worth it as you get a free any time of the day breakfast special card for use in the restaurant. Beds were cozy. Latest free check out is 11 and if you plan on staying till 1 its a 50 dollar charge. Any later and youre looking at a day use that costs the same as staying another night. Morning receptionist wasn't as nice as the first one. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or not. But she was pretty unpleasant.

Average hotel, clean...but worn and towels etc...old. No frills and you have to ask for things that should be provided, like extra towels, shampoo coffee etc...for third paid person in room.Does have cold continental breakfast bagged for you (no indoor eating area due to covid-19, which is appreciated. Bottom line: decent hotel for a night or two and quite reasonably priced. *beds comfy; service friendly

Clean, cozy, warm. Very nice place to stay. 1000 times better then the Hi Valley Motor Inn. Would absolutely stay here in the future. As an added bonus for staying here you get a free hot breakfast at the Horizon Steakhouse. Which is much better then a continental breakfast.

Pretty good for its price! Room was clean with TV, lots of plugs for electronics, and you could adjust the temperature to your liking. However, beds were hard, shower was annoying to use, and I tripped first time going into the room. Still, pros outweigh the cons. Great place to stay while traveling!!

Check in was quick and easy! This hotel has adopted a cool concept by giving there customers a breakfast slip to fill out, and by the morning our breakfast was ready for us to take with us to save time and allow us to hit the road in a fast and efficient manor.

They only charge you after you check out and have time to inspect your room. Which can be anywhere from 2-6 hours. They decided to charge me a pet fee" because I "snuck a dog in" and they knew this because housekeeping found dog hair in my room...I pet a dog outside.They have weird warnings all over the front desk and doors in the rooms with fines for guests. I suspect this is their standard business practice where the hotel will charge people long after they've left and hope the customer doesn't ask for a refund.Additionally

some of front desk not pretty good to talk im always five times not works my key in my room in if you ask the number of manager they dont want to give because i want to complain about theits seem they do it intionally even your still paid for more days only few front desk they talk nicely im just the ask the attention of manager ot horizon inn in valley view

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and cleanliness. The woman on evening shift is the most wonderful friendly person and made my stay so enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to have a totally smoke free hotel.
