New location, same great service. Incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. I'm going to go here for all speaker needs forever. So grateful for their work.

I was riding down an elevator one day and a guy was throwing out a pair of paradigm Titan v2 bookshelf speakers - I asked what was wrong with them, he said he wasn't sure but they didn't sound good. I took them off his hands as was looking for a pair of good hi Fi speakers, maybe they could be fixed. The woofers were indeed blown on both, tweeters fine though. Called the speaker shop, brought them in to get the woofers replaced. Work was done within a week, and not only were the woofers upgraded to a superior brand (discussed with me when I brought them in to get checked), the cost was cheaper than buying a pair of lesser quality bookshelfs new. And the sound? Phenomenal - not throwing that word around. Paired with my yamaha r-s202 amp and Onkyo C7030, my hifi system has never been better. Since then I've tested these speakers against Pioneers, Boston Acoustics, and Kefs at the same price as the repair and they don't compare. Long story short - the speaker shop knew what upgraded woofer would pair well with the titan v2 tweeters and the result is awesome. I would happily go back for any repairs in the future, and to anyone with some busted, but good quality speakers (with a good tweeter or well made cabinet), you can breathe a whole life into them with this place. 5 stars for the elevator guy who was throwing the titans in trash 5 stars for the speaker shop for blowing my repair out of the water.

Dreadful experience. Took a$56 fee from me for assessing whether my tape deck could be repaired. A service that took all of 5 minutes. 8 months later and I still don't have my tape deck back. Such a scam.

Frank rebuilt 4 8 drivers for my KEF 105/3s. Excellent result. They perform like new. He did extra rebuild work on one driver and did not charge me. Thanks Frank!"

Had my paradigm woofers repaired, was worried about the repair affecting the sound, and it sounded as good as I remembered. Speakers were bought in 1996 and needed some loving. Highly recommend them. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Frank has a huge depth of knowledge of speaker and audio electronics, old and new. Best service anywhere!!!Update: Recapped the crossovers on my vintage KEF 103.2s but one didn't work properly. Frank diagnosed the problem while I waited and sold me a replacement for the defective part. Awesome!

I haven't been to the new store yet but plan to visit soon. I have consumed twice in the past on Eglinton and was always happy with my purchase and the best one on one service/design. Most speakers last 20 years I had mine custom built 35 years ago. I would not go anywhere else first. Frank is the goto man. Always had what I needed in stock. And if he doesn't have what I had before he has something even better. I have to make an upgrade soon and I hope he has a simular deal as he has provided me each decade.Even if I spend double what I did before I will manage to save time and money regardless.Dare to compare. Frank is highly knowledgeable and reputable. Customers don't mind waiting around for him because he does give undivided attention. Honest and sincere advice is what you will get out of him. Anyone looking for any custom work, be it cabinets, cross overs, speaker mods, this place can be trusted with eyes closed.
