Machu Picchu Restaurant
I celebrated my birthday at Machu Picchu restaurant last weekend. The food is always amazing, the restaurant is very clean and they had a DJ! The owners are very friendly and we always have a great experience! All my friends that attended complimented the food and great service! Definitely a 5 star restaurant! Mediocre food. There are several options of Peruvian food around much much better; Shame on me for ordering here.Portions where brief and overpriced. I paid almost $90 for 2 plates and an appetizer that barely feed 1.I ate in this restaurant years ago. I gave it a second try hoping If I was just unlucky the 1st time… noup I was not, this is just a very mediocre restaurant. You are better off googling the recipes and cook it yourself; for sure the portions would be richer…..Don’t waste your time, do not eat here. If you like it, you probably have not had good Peruvian food. Please explore!

Machu Picchu Restaurant
This was our first time trying Peruvian food and it was all delicious. We tried a variety of different salsas with our dishes and they were all flavourful. The seafood casserole with fish was prepared in a tasty red sauce- perfectly spiced. The ceviche mixto was the exact combination of fresh and tangy. We also tried the beef heart kabobs and they tasted amazing. Will definitely go back!

Really nice Peruvian restaurant in Oakville. I loved my tacu tacu with lomo. The meat was so tender and flavourful and I will most definitely be returning soon to order it again. My mom also loved her ceviche!

First time trying a Peruvian restaurant. I was impressed with the portions (definitely can share), it was very tasty and pleasant. Staff were friendly, greeting & smiling the minute I walked in. I will definitely be back sometime.

I don't know why this restaurant has good reviews. Two days ago I ordered lomo saltado to see if they can make something as easy as this dish and then order more food another day. They gave me more fries than meat, they literally gave me 6 pieces of meat and not well done, the fries were very sticky and the rice had a strange smell, you could tell it wasn't fresh. A waste of time and money.I find it very unfortunate, I thought I no longer had to go all the way to Toronto to get good Peruvian food. I hope they get another cook.

It's the first time I have tried this restaurant. I decided to come after reading the reviews. When I called to make the reservation I was advised that at 7pm there was going to be a big party and there could be delays.The decoration, tables and chairs are in the low ~ medium side.The service was average trending to low, maybe because of the big party that was having place at the time I was there.The food was very good.As the time was passing, more people joined the party (about 40) and the noise level increased so much that was really difficult to listen anything.I will give it another try and provide an update based on the experience. Hopefully there is not going to be another big party.

Ive recommended this place to my friends and family, it was amazing. We have been going here for over three years. It seems that there was a change of workers. Today the portions were really off - very small, the food was undercooked and it lost its taste. We are very disappointed. If the prices are rising, the restaurant must still at least maintain its quality. This time, the quality is falling downhill. The server insisted that they are weighing the food prior to serving - which I beg to differ. As a regular patron to this place, we are fully aware on the food portion and quality. Unfortunately they will be loosing our business.

Best Peruvian cuisine in the area so far. Great quality , very clean place , huge portions , amazing service and food tastes so fresh. Love it ! Highly recommended. Don't hesitate to go there on a Saturday for lunch.
