I do not recommend this place. Went to wash and blow dry. The lady who worked on me was so rough and did not care when I told her to be gentle. They are just not good with black people’s hair.

First time shopping here and I will definitely be coming back regularly! Amazing costumer service, the lady that owns this shop is an absolute doll!! ❤ I am so impressed with the quality of the hair extensions and the prices. I really love this hair salon!I found it when I was looking for someone who would place and cut hair extensions - a lot of places won’t.It didn’t come up when I was searching, just a bunch of expensive AF places in Vancouver, but later I searched black owned salons because I figured they’d be experienced with hair pieces and that’s how I found them - and I’m so glad I did!They’re very affordable and have a huge selection of hair, hair products, hair tools, as well as makeup, all of which are at great prices.I love the owner Jane, she was the first person I saw when I came in with my extensions and I go to her every time now, she’s also very sweet.I’m much happier with her than with my old hairstylist - the only complaint I would have is that sometimes the wait time is a bit bad, but that’s understandable since they do a lot of braids and weaves and whatnot which can be a bit unpredictable with how long they’ll take (I’m only ever there for a haircut, so my appointment is always fairly quick once I’m seen).Very good salon, it’s my regular now and I would recommend them to anybody wanting a good cut/style somewhere affordable and friendly, and/or if they’re looking for wigs/hair pieces because their prices and selection are great!

Unfinished retwists also everytime I come they are extremely tough with my hair no matter who is working on my head I will not be coming here anymore and I do not recommend they left my hair unfinished and then charged me full price they constantly yank my head back and don’t even do a very good job I hate this place and I believe they should be shut down permanently people come here and pay lots of money for their hair to be unfinished and then they will also ridicule you for not returning to their shop as if they even did a good job in the first place.

Jane right off the bat was so accommodating. I called at eight o'clock at night when her online hours said she was closed. To my surprise she answered and was happy and willing to bring me in that same night within a half hour. Very professional attitude clearly knowledge in hair is infinite. Her prices are more than fair. Lots of choices when looking around her store at product selection. I have definitely found my new hairdresser. She asked me to pic message her what exactly what it was I wanted and told me to come on in. Thanks Jane for an experience that can be nerve wracking when trying to find a new hair dresser become an easy going and stress free experience. Five stars all around. Anyone in New Westminster who hasn't visited her shop for extensions or anything if the sort I truly believe it's your loss if you don't pop in and make an appointment, you won't be disappointed. So happy I've found my new braid and extension specialist so close to home.

They dropped the curling iron on my neck and the burn has left a scar, big enough that it’s very noticeable. I didn’t even get an apology.
