Ammex Impots Income Tax

My wife and I submitted our taxes through AMMEX. They did not include the costs of the subsidized day care in the submission. This in return gave us a 3400$ tax bill to pay.I was told by Chantal, that they can't calculate it and its the government that can only do this. Odd that my old accountants were able to do this. From the QC Tax web site, it CLEARLY states how to calculate this figure. $$ (based on your family salary) X number of days. Even someone without any tax experience can calculate this without any issue.Worst part they lie and say they CAN'T calculate this when anyone with a calculator can do it.I was completely brushed off by them.. Not impressed.Not recommended at all!

Been going there for years, notice small mistakes in my taxes in the past that weren't enough to be upset, but unfortunately for this year taxes there was a huge mistake concerning my RRSPcontributions .,they forget to carry it through to the federal which cause me not to receive a refund.i now have to wait 6 months for revenue Canada to assess my taxes again . I warned Ammex impots that I would not be returning ever with them,was simply brushed off. Not the customer service I was looking for...

Had our taxes done. Went to pick them up and found an error right away making a $700 difference. They said they made the correction right away. Then once they were filed there was another mistake. Went back and was told to leave it with them". That was 3 weeks ago. Cannot get a call back. Makes you wonder what else they missed. Taking them to someone else."

They don't know what they're doing. How does someone on survivors pension with no previous debt to government owe money. They charge 80$ to mess up your taxes. Had them done by another taxes company and they did it correctly and now the government rightfully owes my mother like it should. How does people owe money on non taxable income being its only income? Literally only one box needed to be filled on the sheet of non taxable income and she owed. Makes no sense. If anything I want my mother to get a refund as they improperly did the taxes. I wonder if they do it on purpose just so they make extra.

BEWAREI got a tax bill of 13k and Yousef told me he would fix this on April 8th. After a string of texts and phone calls, I only managed to speak to him once because I used my work phone to call his office and he happened to pick up. He assured me he sent in the correction to the CRA and I should just wait for an NOA.A month later (May 13) I tried applying for a LoC increase and the bank told me I was rejected because of my 13k tax bill. I called the CRA to inquire on the status of this correction, and when it will be fixed as it's interfering with my banking and the CRA agent told me that there has been no correction request made by an accountant and he never did it. I also paid AMMEX to file an election clause on my behalf which I can't even confirm if they did (at the very least) that because I'm not getting any response from them.The lack of response from Yousef and his company is unprofessional and disrespectful. I'll be happy to edit this review once it's all been corrected.

They are excellent family business. Been doing my taxes for the past 6 years no problems.
