My experience was extremely negative at The Fifth. The teacher Sarahi Cardenas was extremely unprofessional and played favorites in the class. I would warn against taking classes at the Fifth.

Sarahi is the best. She's caring, kind, and she really cares about creating a supportive environment for dancers from all walks of life. There are two studios at the current location. Tons of different classes and workshops to choose from. But best of all, is the supportive environment. There's no judging, no cliques. It feels like a nice happy family where everyone's welcomed.

If I didn’t move to Montreal - the Fifth Dance would have been my regular must-go in Toronto. I did 7 years of ballet school in Russia and was looking for a classical barre classes for semi-professionals, and FINALLY found them in this studio. Anyone who is looking for real ballet classes of different levels - the Fifth Dance is the best place to go.

The Fifth Dance
I have been a regular student here for the past year. Owner/teacher Sarahi takes time to understand each of her students and gives personal feedback. The fifth has a wide array of adult beginner dancers( like me) as well as a quite large following of professional dancers. The environment here is amazing to keep you motivated and inspired to grow as a dancer!

One of my go to places for ballet. Teachers are amazing and incredibly encouraging. As an adult learning ballet I absolutely feel supported with friendly classmates and teachers.Overall, The Fifth is an amazing community of different dance styles and skill levels.

The fifth dance is a great place for the dancing community in Toronto.amazing teachers and professionals that are willing to share their experience with you through classes and workshops, also a good place for you to rehearse your own performances.Toronto should have more places like this where INCLUSIVITY is a must and you feel like home to just dance as much as you want.

The Fifth Dance is a studio that really cares about making dance (and particularly ballet) accessible to dancers of all levels whilst challenging you to actually “dance”, not just improve on your technique. From beginner ballet to the morning Inter/Advanced class, whether you want to start dancing as an adult or have danced for years, there is something for you. Sarahi is an incredibly friendly and attentive teacher and I would definitely recommend her classes. The Fifth is more than just a dance studio, it is a community that supports and builds artists.
