Customer service is okay, and can be a bit slow at times. Every time I come here, no matter how hard I inspect, I end up bringing home spoiled produce. It’s unfortunate because there aren’t many West Indian shops in the area.

Staff can be very unpleasant at times, excepting for the male attendant. Sometimes I don't want to spend my money here honestly.

I'm from Ajax and I travel all they way to oshawa to buy what I need to cook. I love the customer service, the place is really clean and organize especially in the pandemic. I buy all my meat here like goat, oxtail and fish what ever I need and it alwaya turn out nice after cooking them I never had an issue with there meat yet. They have a carribean market in ajax but it there fish isnt really good like i always have a issue with the fish tasting bitter after cooking it. Honestly I would not go to this place again. I walk in sanitize my hands and begin to browse to see what they have as selection. The employees follow me around like I am trying to steal stuff meanwhile there’s a camera on every row. They also inform me I am not allowed to look around because of Covid guidelines. I sanitized my hands and have a mask on. Honestly rude customer service worst store I’ve been too.

They just lost a regular customer. I spent over $200 a month here. I was a regular. The owner is somewhat nice some days and very rude other days. Been using my own sanitizer in her store since March, go in today and suddenly there's an issue. As soon as I enter she rudely accuses me of using water (like I just walked off the street, been going there for 5 years). Could of posted a sign on the door (if they are changing their procedures) could of talked to me discreetly. Then I called her store after leaving and having such an embarrassing situation bad situation, she apologizes if I made you feel offended". Do better

Entered the store for the first time to check it out. The lady over there just screamed at me “HELLO PLEASE SANITISE YOUR HANDS” very loudly. Like I get it I will do that but why you have to be rude about it? It’s not like I am an animal or something that you can talk to me like that.I just left right away cuz I didn’t feel comfortable. Forget it I am not buying from here :)

Normally I would give 4 stars. Most of the time I have a quick and pleasant experience.My recent experience was not great unfortunately.¤ Please can staff smile and be more welcoming to customers.¤ Please can staff keep phone calls until after the customer leaves the store¤ Please can staff talk to the customers when they are being cashed out.Just BASIC customer service and manners.

I Wish they was a ZERO to rate this store ... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!! I wonder how she still in business. The Owner act as if we are begging for food!! The sad part is she has even trained her employees to be RUDE too ... Yesterday I went into this store to get some stuff I needed. the employee rudely told me to use the hand Sanitizer they have ... I told the employee that I will use my own instead.. I used it in front of the lady ... The employee calls the owner ( HER BOSS) OMG she was yelling at me on the phone like I was a little child . I asked them why cant I use mine??? she was not even listening to me . Yelling at me as if I was shoplifting .I was in SHOCK !!!! I go to big stores I never been treated like that . this is not the first time I am getting yelled at by the owner OR the Stuff! but I always say to myself let me give her another chance . But yesterday was the limit . I left and I didn't buy any food so she will rather loose $200 and be rude to customers . WHY even have a store if you wont Serve ? We black ppl should learn customer service from big stores this is why they have succeeded . The funny thing is the owner is a Christian" I don't know what Kind of God she prays ! So I said to myself I will NEVER EVER GO BACK to the Store again I will rather go to the ppl who respect me ."

We visit this store weekly. I have experienced the EXCUSE ME-SANITIZE YOUR HANDS" quite a few times too! As mentiined in many of rhe reviews.Usually my husband will around midday on a Thursday as he knows they get their delivery of fresh roti(Dhal Pourie)

I visit this store often and I'm lways disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. Line of products are ok but nothing to write home about. The owner and cashiers answer the phone in the middle of cashing and have me waiting for up to 5 minutes while they talk to whomever is on the line. RIDICULOUS!!!!
