VRCORE - SW Calgary

Booked a 1hr appt today at the south center location. When we walked in their payment system was down and they offered to let us play for free today, which was pretty cool of them. We still gave them the $100 gift cards we had because we didn’t feel right playing for free as it’s not their fault the system was being difficult. They got my family and I set up in our rooms and we began the the tutorial, the computer system almost immediately began having issues and crashing(hence the 4 stars), causing us to have to restart a few times. Eventually we played our game but didn’t get to finish it as we lost time with the computer issues.. at the end the were apologetic and offered us five tokens equaling 5 free hours which again, was pretty decent of them.. staff are all great there, and did their best to help us through it and were there to help out our young kids who are new to VR and didn’t fully understand how to do everything in game.. we will definitely return, without kids next time lol.

Just wanted to thank the entire team at VRCORE for an an awesome anniversary week experience! I was able to introduce so many people to these amazing games!Special credit goes to Brendan, Quinn, Jesse and Zach for helping to make these experiences extra amazing!These are such a nice group of people pitching a really great product. Escape from the Pyramid is my top pick but Saving Notre Dame on Fire is a really good one, too!I'd highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun date night or a fun friends experience. You'll need to go in groups of 2 or 4 but if you can make that happen? You won't be disappointed. It's really fun.

We brought our 6 year old to play for his 1st time. Brett set us up and was excellent at teaching our beginner. We weren't sure if a non-reader would be able to understand the tutorial; however, with only a little extra attention, our son got the hang of the controllers and had lots of fun. There is a variety of games to try out for all skill levels.

I took my eight year old daughter here today and she really enjoyed herself. The staff was amazing, they were so helpful. It's very reasonably priced and there is plenty of free parking.

We booked VRKade for my son's 9th birthday party. We found the Groupon for a Party of 8 for 2 hrs of play and use of the party room during and after those two hours.From start to finish, it was a great time! We arrived early, and were immediately impressed with the staff, and the place itself was amazing, really well set up for parties of 8. The locale was clean, modern, and very well organized. We invited a few more kids and actually ended up booking for 12 kids and 2 adults.Everyone had a great time. Kids and adults! The staff was excellent at explaining the equipment to the kids, setting them up individually, and were impressively patient with 12 kids! They were cheery, helpful and were around to supervise the kids' gaming needs the entire time.The party room had a large table and chairs, as well as a sofa area with a tv/xbox console. This was great for the parents that came and went during the party. We were able to bring whatever food and decorations we wished. The party was such a success!!They gifted the birthday boy and kids a token for 1 hr free play as they were leaving.We were so impressed. My son said it was the best party EVER! We have left with some amazing memories.Thank you so much VRKADE and STAFF!!!

What a neat experience! Try it out even if you're not a gamer! The staff were awesome at managing the group of 6 kids I brought in for a party. I loved that they made a point of getting our names and using them! The party room was huge! Everything was clean and there were Lysol Cleaning wipes outside of the rooms. Definitely recommed this place!

The crew are knowledgeable, kind and courteous. Even when our equipment was not functioning well, they offered a discount for our next time.

Great experience. Had a little technical difficulties initially but we had the employees help us out.

I brought my group here yesterday for the first time. Many of my students had not participated in this kind of activity. They are a group of adults with disabilities, many with sensory issues. The staff were patient, extremely supportive and made their experience fun and inclusive no matter their skill or communication level. Many said they would like to do this activity again as well as the support staff. Thank you so much for this experience, we will be back again!
