This is the second time that we have engaged the Kaushansky Brown (KB) Real Estate Team to help us find a home, and once again, they provided first class service.We started our buying and selling process when the market was hot, and houses were selling within days. With that in mind, we opted to find our new home first, and then sell.Bridgette and Philip visited the prospective houses with us, and once again, they gave excellent guidance, providing us with what we needed to make an informed decision. When we found our forever home, we worked with the team to prepare our offer. Behind the scenes, the KB team got the paperwork ready and submitted everything right on time. On offer night, Bridgette kept us updated on the number of bids (which were a lot), and we eventually resigned ourselves to continuing the search, but that was not the end of the story. A short while later we got a call from Philip that changed our lives. The team had pulled through, and we won the bid for the house; our dream was coming true! We were in shock and ecstatic.Now it was time to sell our old home.Irene met with us and took the time to go through all the paperwork, explain the next steps, and provided a timeline. We were introduced to the rest of the team: from project management, marketing, and concierge services, to staging professionals, and all the other supporting players. Every member of the team was welcoming, professional, and answered our many questions willingly. Each step of the process was completed as scheduled, and if there were changes for any reason, we were given ample notice.Then the unthinkable happened…The market changed overnight. Despite having everything ready as planned, the one thing nobody expected was the drastic slowdown of house sales. Things looked bleak. We were discouraged, but Irene’s positivity, determination and composed professionalism together with Bridgette’s unwavering optimism provided reassurance during this time. The entire KB team kicked into high gear and worked tirelessly, making numerous phone calls, going door-to-door, hosting open houses, promoting marketing campaigns on social media, and through direct mail. Throughout the process Irene sent frequent updates including feedback from potential buyers, information on competing properties, and comparable sales. In the end, we were successful in getting the house sold.Real estate is one of the largest investments of your life and it is so important to have the right team behind you.
