I've been so pleased with the various pieces that I have gotten from Virginia Works which have included a table, a standing desk top, and cutting boards (which make great gifts!) Being able to customize some of the specs to work with my existing furniture was very important to me, and Viet offered further design suggestions to ensure they would be exactly what I wanted. His knowledge and genuine care in the design was appreciated, but it really shows through in the final product

Virginia Works provided a great experience and high quality furniture for our home. I had the idea of getting a solid wood table and a long side bench for our dining room and I couldn't be happier with the detailed craftsmanship and quality of product. The attention to detail to ensure I would be completely happy with my product was unprecedented. I am already a return customer by getting two additional end benches and a side table to be made. I highly recommend Virginia Works and can't wait to have another custom piece made for me. Thanks Again!

I had the unique experience of working with Viet to build my sit-stand desk. From consultation, to design, to picking out the wood and finish, Viet was thorough, professional and allowed me to be as involved and hands-on as I wanted. My new maple desk is a lovely additional to my room (I just wish my laptop and monitor didn't hide the beautiful craftsmanship!). If you want more than just custom-made for your furniture, and like a personalized and unique experience, I would recommend working with Virginia Works. Fun stuff!

I’ve gotten a walnut cutting board with maple inlays 4-5 years ago and have loved it ever since. A number of my friends have seen the board and purchased some for themselves when they were back in Toronto. It’s too bad I live in Hong Kong or I would love to have some furnitures made!

Had a live edge coffee table built along with standing office table and bookshelves. Attention to detail is above and beyond any woodworker in the area. Good price, fantastic workmanship! Highly recommend.

Really excellent custom wood working shop with contemporary furniture designs. I started with a beautiful cutting board that has no chance of ever warping, and am looking into getting a custom dining table made. The owner and chief woodworker is really smart and friendly and knows his craft and materials. Highly recommend!
