Brandon was so friendly and helpful throughout the purchase. We had a hiccup with the delivery date due to pieces of the bed not arriving, but Brandon looked after it, we were very happy with their service, the second bed we bought from Sleep Country.

What a pleasant experience this was from sale through to delivery. This was not our first purchase from Sleep Country. But this time in particular we were left feeling very satisfied and well advised. Our sales person was Brendon at the Broadmead store. He took his time to guide us into what was the best mattress fit for us. In spite of the snowy weather conditions our new mattress was delivered on time as promised. Jeff the delivery person has to be the best delivery person out there. What an enthusiastic, helpful and energetic person. Thank you Brendon and Jeff. I would highly recommend this business.

Good experience, unfortunately I had to exchange new bed for a different model for comfort reasons. It is one of the reasons why I went to Sleep County in the first place. I found the process to be easy and was done quickly. I’m very happy with my new replacement mattress. Sale people are knowledgable and accommodating which is another reason I went there.The reasons I gave them 4 start was delivery issues. Not all reasons list in this review.The last crew to deliver wore the boot covers which i expected. I liked that better, as the first delivery crew just removed there work boots and did the work in there socks.The last crew where sleep country employee’s, I found out when I asked why there was a difference in foot wear. They gave me good advice on how to improve my bed frame, so I would get longer life out of mattress and avoid warranty issues. They also gave me two warranty registration cards, one from the bed being delivered and the other one that was stuck on the bed frame from the first mattress.I was not given this previously by the contracted crew. They where nice guys just lacking attention to detail or weren’t trained as well or at all by Sleep CountyThanks Jeff and Jon , (they left a customer comment card with there names on it) for the great service and caring touch, you where an important part of the end user experience. My Sleep County experience went from 3 stars to 4 on your service that day.

UPDATE: Sleep Country replied to our review here, yet never got back to us after contacting them.Why we will buy a mattress EVERYWHERE else…We encountered a terrible experience concerning our purchase. We changed our mind about the mattress platform after we purchased it. It was within 24hrs that we purchased it that we decided to get a refund. It hadn’t even been sent out on delivery from the store, we hadn't even had it in our possession yet. We went back to the store and the gentleman said it would be no problem to refund us back onto debit. When we got home, we looked closely at the receipt and saw there was an error and the refund did not go through. Not even the salesman noticed, though he looked at the receipt after…We called and said what happened, and asked if we could try again at the store later. He said their system doesn’t allow him to attempt a refund more than once. We found this incredibly bizarre. Then he says the best they can do is get head office to mail us a cheque, which we found out would take roughly 10 business days. This was awful news as we are not able to financially afford to wait that long for a substantial amount money. (We are a one income (me, husband and father) family household with an infant and mother who is unable to work due to health/medical reasons.)We later called Sleep Country Canada’s main customer support number and the woman stated that the man should have known they don’t ever do debit refunds over $500. And in fact that in general all items are final purchase, with the exception of mattress exchanges. She did say that the cheque refund is in their system and on its way. We are still waiting for the cheque, and have heard zero updates from any staff, despite being told we would receive some followup communication. Overall, we feel completely taken advantage of. This was our first “new” bed purchase, it was a big deal.At no point in the purchase process were we informed ahead of time the refund policy and process and limitations of the computer system’s ability to issue a refund. This is a practice of bad ethics, and we feel extremely inconvenienced and uncared for now that Sleep Country made a sale. We are astonished at the primitive abilities of the refund process. We live in an age of etransfers, wire transfers, the internet, etc, and the only choice we were given is to wait for a cheque from head office??? Had the situation been reversed, and we owed them money, they would have not waited for a cheque in the mail.. How hard is it to refund a purchase at any other store? It is almost effortless. Suffice to say, we shall not become repeat customers, and we are spreading word of this awful experience. I invite any sleep country administration to start a dialogue with me if they choose.With all of that said the salesmen were friendly and helpful during the selection process . “Why buy a mattress anywhere else?”

Darryl was amazing. I walked in and told him why I was looking for a new mattress and my needs and he spent an hour having me try certain beds and helping me narrow down what was best for me. There was no pressure and he wasn't trying to sell me the most expensive option. I highly recommend going here when you are in search of that perfect nights sleep!

Positive: easy to find, staff was knowledgeable and did not try to upsell. Beds are investments so best if you come down and try it out. Seems to have no nonsense warranty and return.Neg: warehouse not on the island so you will have to wait 2 weeks to 1 month to get it delivered.Food for thought: wait until the sale to get the best price. Best beds are placed closest to the entrance.

My husband and I attended the Broadmead Sleep Country mattress store and had the pleasure of dealing with Darryl Gordon. We had been to many other mattress stores and this one is by far the best due to the professionalism of Darryl and the wide selection and pricing of mattresses and pillows. Darryl is a genuinely nice, super knowledgeable and patient gentleman. We are very appreciative of the customer service he provided and we highly recommend this store. Thanks very much Darryl. Went in to look for a new mattress and Sean was really able to help me out. I wasn't looking for anything too expensive but he was able to show me several different mattresses that fit my price range as well as take the time to go over the differences between all the options. I really appreciated that extra effort. The mattress arrived a couple nights ago and we love it. Sean was also able to setup a service where they took our old mattress away which saved us a huge amount of time and effort. Highly recommend checking out this location!

Brandon was a terrific help! He found many ways to give me great deals. He showed me around the store and let me try some mattresses out…till it was juuuuust right. Took a while to get here but was so worth it! My new pillows cured my neck pain and my mattress is perfect. I would have given 5 stars, had the delivery guys not used an electric drill. Quick yes but on the very front page on the manual warned not to use a drill. It could damage the joints.So here’s hoping it didn’t!
