Ordered take during CNY week, other places were closed so we tried Dim Sum Garden. Overall the food is good and is your typical winnipeg-chinese food, not bad but not authentic either.We enjoyed the deluxe shrimp dumpling and the Szechuan hotpot dish and would highly recommend it.The sweet and sour intestines were funky and were accompanied with pineapples but no sauce? had it before from other chinese restaurants but was not as smelly as these. The pork bao was mostly bread, the siu mai and fried dumpling were ok, Har gow would have been better if the skin was thin, but the chilli sauce was very good and definitely saved this meal!

Love their food! Fast and fresh also friendly. Just wish they stayed at their old location and fixed it up.

One of my favourite go to spots for dim sum, great food, doesn't take too long to make. Always hot. My only complaint is they don't have bbq pork buns or pineapple buns during the week... On the plus side they have happy hour quite often!!

We enjoyed the food and the dim sum was delicious for dinner. Need improvement on the cleanliness side, floor needs to get swept often, food on the floor is visible. The tables can be cleared right away when customers leave or clear plates as food is consumed. It would help a lot for ambience. The cups and bowl have a certain aroma of chlorine, its difficult not to notice May visit again for the food perhaps take out, however, it would be more enjoyable if the atmosphere level up.

This place used to be the Marigold restaurant on King Street so parking is pretty good with an attached lot. There was a downstairs level for parties. We came in at 8 pm on a Sunday which was Happy Hour pricing and most dim sum choices were $3.99 which is pretty reasonable. There's also some other choices like noodles and congee. Pretty small menu. The food was OK. Taste-wise though we much prefer Kum Koon Garden next door for their dim sum and larger menu selection, although they are definitely pricier. I don't think we will come to Dim Sum Garden again unfortunately as we would rather pay a bit more and really enjoy our meal, next door.

New location since last time we went. Visually the atmosphere is warmer in the new place but it is quite noisy. Food was as good as ever. I saw a review that said it wasn’t authentic but having lived in China for a year I can say that it is! I will add that you get a lot for what you pay for.
