Helpful staffs and you can buy merchandise / souvenirs too. Located at the beginning of Cabot Trail and tickets for the trail entry can be purchased there.

Friendly staff, at least one of the two cashiers there speaks french. Bathrooms. Parking is a bit small if you're in high season though. Maps available inside for free.Prices for the whole park are pretty fair, and last up to 16:00 on the following day.There's a Look-Off next to it, about 10 mins of moderate climb with stairs & roots.

Ingonish Visitor Centre
My daughter and I made a quick stop to the Ingonish Visitor Center after completing the Cape Breton Highlands NP 10 hikes in 1 day challenge. The staff were awesome and the visitor center was well stocked with interesting information and souvenirs. You should definitely include the visitor center as part of your stay in the park.

A great rest stop to ask and pick up pamphlets for all the things to do and see in Ingonish. Has nice washrooms and a water bottle refill station.

Ingonish Visitor Centre
A welcome pit stop on your way around the Cabot Trail. Lots of souvenirs to see and buy. The staff are eager to help and provide ideas of things to do in the area. Very friendly. The washrooms are clean and well maintained.

What a great spot! Stopped for a late lunch. Got take away and sat on the uncovered patio with my dog. Delicious homemade seafood chowder and panninis. Great view too!
