Caron Tower Apartments- Skyline Living

Poor management,We move in skyline Caron 6 month ago.after 10 days because of rain .water coming from window and celling.we complain more than 25 times or more.but there is no result.very poor management.

We live on the top floor of the apartment and since we moved in in November 2022, there has been MAJOR water leaks both from the ceiling and the window in one of the two bedrooms. We cannot even get use that room at all from the 1st day, every time it rains, we have water leaks. We have been complaining it to the apartment manager for months now but the issue is still not resolved. It has been 5 months of this issue and there is not even a temporary solution of it. It seems like the apartment manager is not taking this issue seriously at all. However, we are not in a situation to continue living at this unit given the circumstances we are facing currently. Therefore, as a lawful tenant I am demanding a quick and permanent solution to this issue. I have video recordings and photos of each instance of leaks. I am sure, no one would ever dare to live in a house with this kind of issue present. I thought living in a Skyline property would be a great experience and place but it turned out an awful deal. Therefore, as a lawful tenant of Skyline, I am demanding a quick and permanent solution to this issue, otherwise I am okay to transfer to similar nearby Skyline properties if needed. But I need to get this issue resolved at the earliest.

Flat no.802,We move here approx 6 month ago as well as our flat is 2 bhk and there is problem in our 1 bedroom water is leaking from windows and celling.we inform more then 5 time but there is no results.Moreover,we can't leave in that room .very poor management.we are afraid but then also they are not listening.we call manger they not give us proper answer. Never take this apartment at lease you can get a good flat then this at a cheaper price.

Management is worsened over time. Managers and handymen are always on vacation and never respond to complaints. Too many safety issues. Often times the property is trespassed by homeless people and management does nothing about the nuisance caused by them. They lease apartments even to the homeless guys who later become root cause of the nuisance at the property. The quality of basic equipment provided is extremely poor. Recently had break-in to my car parked in basement and one of my family members got locked into washroom due to poor quality latches. It takes them months to respond and work on basic problems. Attitude of manager is extremely arrogant.NEVER LEASE THIS PLACE. I REPEAT, NEVER EVER. YOU CAN GET A MUCH BETTER APARTMENT AT SAME PRICE-POINT

I had previously posted a very poor review for this building due to the ownership and the way it was maintained. This WAS under the Boardwalk banner. However, in the last 6 or 7 months, new ownership has taken control under 'Skyline Living' and they have in fact done quite a bit in as much as improvements go. As a resident here for over 22 years, this is just slightly less enjoyable than when it was privately owned, but certainly a lot better than Boardwalk's time here. On-site management are friendly and helpful, and seem conscientious to people's needs. I'm upping my rating from 1 star to 4

The pictures and videos themselves are enough to back what I am writing about. I leased this apartment back in November 2022 only to make my life miserable. This apartment is on top floor of a 9 storey building and there has been water leaks from the ceiling and the window in one of the bedrooms that we are not able access since the first rain after we moved in. We have been trying to reach out to the management but who cares. They are like we have sent the request to our team they will fix it soon every freaking time we call them. Living in this building has turned out to be a nightmare for us. I have not seen a management that just doesn’t listen to the people’s concerns. The way they talk over phone calls about the situation is ridiculous. They are like we cannot do anything about it, then who is going to do this, is it the responsibility of us tenants?Moreover, we tried to reach out to main office with some hope, but again the same story “we will fix it, we are here to help”. When they are going to help, after we move out of the building? This is just ridiculous, it seems like they are having fun of us instead of being helpful all the times.Now, a few days back, big chunks of concrete from the ceiling started falling, anyone can see in the pictures. Fortunately, there was no one sleeping at the time it happened, otherwise the situation could have only gotten worse.I will never ever recommend my friends and family to lease a SKYLINE apartment in my entire life. NEVER!!!One would only dare to lease an apartment in this building if they want to make their life horrible.I hope this can help people willing to lease an apartment in this building in future.
