Sunset Tan Kitchener

Have had a great experience so far this week with Sunset Tan. The lady at the front desk is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She answered my questions and offered advice and follow up care to ensure my tan would be perfect for holidays. Would highly recommend Sunset Tan.

Had a subscription for years but only went tanning a couple months out of the year, since January I’ve been trying to cancel my monthly subscription. They charge my account every month after promising to cancel. Now promised a refund last week and if it didn’t work to contact them again. They have been ignoring my calls all week. If this is how they treat loyal customers imagine how they will treat you.

Best tanning salon in the area! All tanning beds are maintained and provide the best tanning experience. The staff is very knowledgeable when picking out a tan lotion that suits your skin type. I have been coming to this location for years. Thanks so much for the great tanning experience. Looking forward to many more years being a customer.

Edit after response from owner asked for feedback:Unfortunately I had a similar experience to some other reviewers. The receptionist seemed friendly enough/on a first name basis with the two other clients who were waiting before me, but a bit weird towards me, not even asking my name. When I find a tanning place I like, I go at least once a week, so I like to be on good terms with the people who run them as I know I'll see them often.  Instead it was awkward, but I shook it off.As a new client to this location, I was never told about the options for beds, just informed that a lay-down bed would be available in 10 minutes if I wanted it. Still, I was a walk-in and I do prefer the lay down beds, so I agreed, paid $20 and waited. The other clients were eventually called into their rooms, and I noticed she asked the gentleman how long he would like, to which he replied 7 minutes".  When my bed was free

Had horrible customer service from a lady at the front desk today, told me I was earlier then the 24hr mark to tan which is completely understandable that I couldn’t tan but she was blatantly rude right off the bat and disrespectful. Definitely could’ve taken a better approach! Been coming to this tanning salon for the past few months.

New tanners do not come here! Today was my first day attempting to try a tanning bed and as soon as I entered the building I was judged on my age. The lady at the front desk continued to call me “pasty” and when asked for my ID she promptly looked at it for much longer then necessary. I was then told that all of the beds would burn me and that she was only willing to put me in a bed for 2 minutes. I continued to agree and was told it was a 20 min wait so I asked if she could call me when a bed was ready. She laughed in my face and asked if I was joking and when I left she started talking about my looks and my question to another customer. I found this extremely inappropriate and will not be returning.

Amazing tanning salon!! Tried a few salons before finding this one and finally found one that has great prices, amazing friendly staff and very clean! They are always there to answer questions and are very helpful. This place, in my opinion, by far is the best tanning salon in Kitchener-Waterloo!!

Found this amazing tanning salon, while checking on line for the best store hours. Soleil City made me switch tanning salons the moment I walked into the gorgeous salon. The owner was so nice, professional and knowledgeable. The tanning beds are simply amazing, top quality and the very best. The salon is clean and well maintained. The lightbulbs are actually changed and they offer towels. The prices on packages are great as well.

I have MS vitamin D is a big help for people with MS. It helps with the lathargy and manage other symptoms as well. The staff is friendly. I also work shift work. Tanning helps with mood and the change over. It's clean and the staff is very knowledgeable about the benefits and always ready to answer any questions and help in any way possible.

Lynn & Sam are always so pleasant to see people come in. One of the best tanning salons that doesn’t act like you’re a nuisance to them! They're very accommodating & patient with customers. After a full month with Sunset tan, I can honestly recommend this business, due to the cleanliness and kind atmosphere they provide. Thank you for working safely during this unknown difficult times. You’re all appreciated!
