Dr. Kara Plastic Surgery of Whitby

I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Kara May 2015 referred by my sister who also had her BA done by Dr. Kara a few years ago. He done an amazing job and I couldn't even happier. He was very thorough explaining to me the procedure during consultation. The consultant there was very nice and follow up with me before and after the procedure. It's been over a year now and my scar is healing really well and they look so natural. I absolutely love them. I highly recommend Dr. Kara!

I had breast augmentation surgery on September 14th and I could not be happier. Dr. Kara and his team are incredibly pleasant, fun and knowledgeable. I had my surgery on a Saturday and the following day I took my kids to the park by myself, went on a long walk and was back to my everyday duties with the exception of lifting anything heavy. I couldn’t believe how great the recovery was. I was a bit sore, I compared it to when my breastmilk came in but that only lasted a few days. Zehra is my nurse and has been at all of my appointments – she is absolutely wonderful!! She makes me feel so comfortable and always has a smile on her face. She called me in the afternoon after my surgery to see how I was doing and Dr. Kara called me himself as well that evening. They started to drop slowly and now at almost 3 months post-op, I am so happy with them!! I have been going for the laser scar removal treatments as well, I’ve had two and they have made such a difference, although the scar is so minimal to begin with. They offered me a numbing cream to do before the laser but I passed, it is literally like a little pinch and the laser only takes about 5 seconds each side. They are great with accommodating for appointments, I live an hour and a half away so they always get me booked in the evening or weekend. I highly recommend Dr. Kara and his team!!!

Dr Kara and his staff have been extremely helpful and supportive. I had BA 25 years ago with a doctor in Peterborough. I have live with severe encapsulation for most of that time. Dr. Kara has taken be through the removal and recovery and I have never been happier. I have called and asked advise on several occasions and have always felt like my questions/concerns were treated with respect and caring. I have recommended Dr. Kara to several women I know including my mother. Any future treatments or procedures I have will only be done here.

After 8 years I am finally posting.I had breast implants and a tummy tuck.I had originally asked for a breast lift, but was talked in to implants by Dr Kara.Surgery went well.After 2 weeks I developed terrible ulcers from the tummy tuck and Dr Kara said he may have tightened the skin too much. At this appointment he did not check my breast implants and I had to remimd him.2 weeks after this, more ulcers on my abdomen.2 months or maybe a bit more, terrible pain in my breasts and I had the implants removed. For more money" I scheduled a breast lift" and gave my deposit. Shortly after this my pubic bone protruded so badly from the tight tummy tuck that I decided I know longer trusted Dr Kara to do the breast lift and asked for my deposit back.I eventually had to see a lawyer to get my money back

I’m at my 3rd month of recovery from breast augmentation and I could not be more pleased with my results! Dr. Kara is truly a miracle worker! He has been so kind and approachable right from the start! And his surgery consultant Melissa Aldridge was fabulous guiding me along through every step of the way! Dr Kara and Melissa both recommended the size for me which I am completely happy with. My breasts have a wonderful shape and are just beautiful!! I went with the recommended gummies and they feel great and look very natural! Dr Kara’s techniques and recovery recommendations are excellent! Melissa guided me along with all the recovery steps and including the prep several weeks before surgery. I followed instructions to the letter and my recovery has been wonderful! If you are looking to have breast augmentation I can’t be more emphatic for you to talk with Dr Kara and Melissa. They are truly so knowledgeable and supportive and their methods are the absolute best! The Kara team all work so well together and really made my experience so comfortable, relaxing and ultimately exactly what I was hoping for!! My best decision ever was to go see Dr Kara!!

My experience with Dr.Kara was an excellent one. From the first day, Gina always assured me that I was in right hands and followed up with me every step of the way. Since she shared her experience with me, it made me feel more comfortable with the operation.The surgery went better than I expected, and the other nurses present at the time of surgery were very helpful and made me feel at ease. Although I had to wait a while the procedure was painless. I went home immediately after and was surprised at how quick the recovery time was.I am happy with the results as now my abdomen is more contoured ( I had a liposuction). Though the final results can take up to 9 months,, it has given me a reason to take dieting and exercising more seriously so that I get the best results possible.Thank you Dr.Kara and Gina for making this a good experience and helping me be more confident and giving me a fresh start! Hello everyone!After years of contemplation and research I finally had my BA done with Dr. Kara on Saturday, April 20 2013. I had my surgery at 10:30AM on April 20th and was walking out of the hospital by 1PM. After sleeping and showering 4 hours later, I was out and about walking the mall and went out for dinner with my family the same night! The following day I was already driving around and was getting my nails done before going back to work the next day. I did not have to take one day off due to my BA. My consultant, Gina was fantastic and very attentive towards me. She was easy to contact whenever I had any questions and/or concerns and was very supportive before and after the surgery. I recently had my 3 month post-opt appointment and my scars have faded dramatically and my breasts look and feel natural. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kara and his services to anyone looking to receive amazing outcomes to their BA surgery. I had a breast augmentation 8 years ago with Dr. Kara. My recovery was quick...I remember taking a nap when I got home from surgery and feeling back to normal afterwards. Over the years, my implants have held up beautifully, and I have never had any issues. The staff at the time was so amazing. In fact, I credit them for my decision to go into nursing and starting a whole new career. I have recommended Dr. Kara time and time again, and have had friends go to him with great results as well. While I can't speak to his other areas of expertise, if you're looking for a breast augmentation with a fast recovery and beautiful, long lasting results, you have found the right surgeon with Dr. Kara.

I am 50 yrs old and went to Dr. Kara's for a BA consultation, Samantha was so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable I booked my size & procedure that night! I had my surgery Oct 29, 2019 and it was the best decision I ever made. I have such great encounters with Dr. Kara and my nurse Zehra, they both go over everything very thorough and take such great care of you! Surgery day was a breeze with Zehra by my side, I was home and out shopping same day, no pain at all. I am now 2 months pre-op and feel/look great!! I am getting Co2 laser done for my scars which is making them look awesome, they actually weren't even bad to begin with. Sharon does the treatments for these and she is wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Kara & staff they are very professional, super friendly & amazing. It really is the best thing I ever did and so thrilled I went through with it, my confidence level is through the roof!! Yours will be too!!
