Very friendly and fun atmosphere. The instructors are thorough breaking down every step of the dance. Even the most untalented person can do the dance steps very well. I've been doing this for the last three years and still haven't got tired of it.

Alberto and Teresa are such wonderful instructors. They can teach people of any dance skill level. Heck.. they taught me and I had never taken a dance lesson in my life! No partner is needed and everything is broken down step by step. Try it!! Thanks guys!

Attended the New Years Eve Latin Party at the Evergreen Culture Center in Coquitlam. Got there at 8.30pm left at 2am, that says it all had a great time, music wonderful great to watch the dancers and instructors show there stuff and having fun. We have attended other dance events and we felt very comfortable with the friendly people who attended. Another nice touch experienced couples would ask others to dance especially if they came by themselves, creating fun for everyone. We also found out that they have bi-weekly Saturday night dances at Evergreen where they start off by giving instruction then you can practice what you have learned. So today my husband and I signed up for the intro to Salsa dancing on Tues evening in Surrey. Way more fun for me than aerobics. Thanks Alberto and Theresa

Alberto and Teresa are really great instructors. I have taken lessons in a few places over the years (always at beginner level), and feel I have learned the most with them, even with basic steps that I've been taught before. They break down the steps in easy ways to follow, watch the class and correct us as needed. I really appreciate their teaching methods, enjoy the classes a lot and feel my salsa skills have improved the most in these lessons. Thank you!

I have tried almost every class here, salsa, bachata, rueda de casino. Alberto an Teresa make all classes fun and enjoyable, I love these guys.

I Have taken Salsa Classes in 2013 in Burnaby. I was Just confused and the dances were complicated. so I just gave up. in 2022 I found Hot Salsa Dance Zone and its close to where I live In Poco. Alberto and Thersea are amazing. Once you have taken the beginner course and learned the basic moves in 6 classes for as low as 85 bucks. the Intermediate courses become fun - in each course of 6 classes you're learning 5 different easy to learn dance combinations. you could apply on the dance floor on their only 10 dollar dance socials every Saturday in The tri city and 2nd and 4th Friday of the month in white rock. they are now doing a once a month dance social in a Huge Port Moody Brewery for 15 bucks . all their dance socials have an hour class of either Merengue , Bachata or Salsa. All their classes are in the evening from 7-10 for an hour . so I can go after work . they are by evergreen in Coquitlam or on 152 in surrey . a great place to make new friends. Class is a party more than being strict on learning. you have fun and Alberto and Thersea are fun and have a great sense of humor.

My partner and I started lessons with Alberto and Teresa last September, we have done two sets of the begginger group salsa classes and a couple of private lessons. They are both fantastic teachers, the classes are incredibly fun and we have always felt at ease despite our lack of dance abilities. I highly recommend taking classes with them regardless of your starting point!
